    Interview was approved on march 19. I had the passports ready to pick up on march 21. Only two questions were asked. Officer congratulated us in uploading all evidence to the NVC portal. They did not ask for anything else other than the original birth certificate, marriage certificate and divorce decree. Good luck everyone in this journey. hubby will arrive soon and I can't wait. for me the k3 was extremely worth it. From beginning to end my process only took 9-10 months and that was because there is a backlog for interviews in DR for 6 months.

    7 months wait from DQ. They are still working on August.

    They are working on cases DQ up until august 15 2023. I was Dq august 11 and just got my interview letter Monday for Mid march.

    Don't know why . I am CR1... I applied in May 11 and was approved beginning of July. I've been waiting for an interview since August 2023.

    I am still waiting for an interview in the Dominican Republic. Hopefully this month we get it.

    It looks like they are taking about 10 months to approve. I was approved in 66 days but I did the K3 as well

    I will.tell you that my approval came within 66 days. I am still waiting for interview. I got DQed in august. So interview times depends in the embassy. DR embassy is working in DQ files for may and gave then interviews for december 2023.

    K3 needs to be done within a few weeks from the I130 in order to work.

    Sometimes it takes a bit. If it pass 30 days do a nvc inquiry.

    People Said that k3 only works if you submit it early in the game. I am unsure if that's the case cos I don't have experience sending the k3 much later. I didn't use a lawyer and did everything myself. Very easy and free. Good luck!

    I am already document qualified with nvc. Yes I had to do one for each. Most information the same except the ones related to the applicat.

    Good luck. I hope it helps you. I paid the fees for NVC and submitted the I184 forms and waiting for acceptance. They are also running behind over there.

    I think the same will happen to us unless the third child catches up. She is behind. Even through she was approved the same day I still don't have her nvc welcome letter. So I've been working to get the hubby and the first two kiddos dq for now.

    Ok, This is what I was assuming. I didn't list them as derivatives. It makes sense that each of them need one form as one individual applicant. Thank you for your help.

    it changed so many times. I believe last time it said 7 months. Please do the K1 if you have not. It doesn't hurt to try.

    Good afternoon, Please help me clarify: I have 4 I130 approvals that went to NVC separately with separate receipt and invoice numbers (husband + 3 step kids). I am assuming NVC knows the cases are connected because when I paid the affidavit fee in the main applicant account (hubby's) it won't allow me to pay again in the other three NVC cases. My question is ? Do I upload 4 separates I864 forms under each case? or how does it work? in the form it looks like my step children are not derivatives so they need their own and I cannot list them as a accompany family members. i am trying to avoid a RFE and get document qualified right away. Please help me. Keila

    Update!! I got approved july 21st for all I130 submitted ( hubby +3 step kids). The approval came from Nebraska SC and I was not notified that the case had been moved. They all were sent to NVC and by next day I had 3 out of four welcome letters with the Nvc receipt number. Please note that all the I130 submitted were done in different days in may after hubby. I guess they knew it was al connected because of the questions in the form. So maybe yes, K3 helped!
