  1. I've been browsing this site for a while and posted a little. And I try not to ask questions that I can find answers too. But I feel like I've done a good amount of digging and just can't get solid answers on a few things.

My fiancé has scheduled his interview for Jan 11 (can't go any sooner since he will be here). Once he has completed his interview we complete the readiness forms and he is put in line for an interview date. I've read that takes about 4-6 weeks. My question is, how far out do they tend to schedule interview dates? We are hoping to have everything all said and done so he can make his move over in the last week of April. Does this sound within the realm of possibilities for this process?

And then with the proof of income for the affidavit of support I've read a couple different things. I have two children, but in my divorce agreement with my exhusband I only claim one child for taxes. So when they ask household size are they asking for the literal size (which will be 4) or what it will be come tax time (which would be 3)?

Also I've heard conflicting reports on if child support is counted as "income" as far as the affidavit of support is concerned. The money is directly deposited into my bank account weekly from my ex-husbands employer. So if you're looking at my bank statements it looks like I'm getting a weekly paycheck from UPS vs him personally. Does this count or not towards my total income?

Thank you in advance for anyone who takes the time to reply. This site has been SUCH a tremendous help.

  2. I've seen a few single cases im following get approved(following a couple hundred recieved Sept 30, same as mine. My NOA date was Oct 2). One had the name updated. Couple approved. That's it for now. Having said that, typically around 10pm EST there is a large group that seems to be processed all at once with notifications swarming my phone. I'll update in a few hours.

    Any new post 10pm updates?

  3. Hello everyone!

Happy to announce that according to the USCIS Case Tracker app, our petition has been APPROVED!

    Here is my timeline:

9/28/2015 - I-129f Packet Mailed to Texas Lockbox

    10/1/2015 - NOA 1 Email - I-129f sent to California Service Center

    10/8/2015 - NOA 1 Hard Copy

    10/27/2015 - Approved!

My fiancé and I are very happy and hope everyone else receives their notice soon as well!

Now to open some champaign and celebrate with a 3 hour skype date! :joy:

Yay!!! This gives me hope that they are still approving things quickly. Our dates are pretty close. Maybe I'll get my NOA2 by the end of next week.

  4. Was you case sent to CSC?

Lately cases are being processed pretty fast.

In my case I got the NOA1 receipt on Sep 30. According to the Timeline her al VJ we might get our NOA2 this week. Reviewing the processing times in Mexico (which are slow) I should get my interview by the end of January.

Have you filled out your timeline? If everything goes with no problems you might get your Fiancé Visa by February! :)

Hope everything goes as you are planning!

It was sent to CSC ? hoping you get your NOA2 soon, looks like we are just a few days behind you with a NOA1 date of October 8th. I think I'm a little too obsessed with checking this site and making sure that Lee and I are doing everything we need to as we wait for each new step. So thankful that we weren't sent to the TSC. I'm pretty sure I would go insane!

  5. Hello Everyone! My name is Brittany and my fiancé is Lee (UK) and I've been lurking a little, but decided to post and share our timeline. Here's what we have so far...

    I-129F sent - October 5th

NOA text received - October 9th

NOA hard copy received - October 13th

On the hard copy it says date received October 6th

I'm trying to not get too carried away with wedding planning, but it's hard. In a perfect world we would be all said and done with all of this visa craziness by mid April and my fiancé would move over here at the end of April and we would get married 7.7.16. That's my perfect world scenario. I've never been a patient woman to begin with, but this whole thing is totally driving me crazy. Has anybody in this group got their NOA2 yet?
