  1. Wow..Congratulations Bro! You are getting married soon! Btw, how's the flow of traffic around LAX area? I will pick up my lady in lax on feb 5th, she will be flying via PAL.

Thanks man! She used Pal aswell cost me $850.. The traffic was not that bad because it was a Saturday night but feb 5 is Friday im not sure what time your Fiancée arrival but traffic starts at 4pm to 10pm. On the weekdays -_-

    Congratulations!!!

    That is great news. :)

I still have one month to wait for my consulate interview. Hopefully March will be the month for us to finish this length of our journey and begin the next!

Thank you!! Hang tight! Do something that will makw you forget the long wait lol. I think the longest wait for me was the 1week countdown when I bought the ticket haha but it was all wroth it ^_^

:joy::wow::joy: Happy days. Congrats. That is a great feeling when they finally get there. It's seems like it took forever. Take some time together for the next two weeks. Then visit Social Security and get her a SSN.

Green! As always you're flippen awesome haha is it true after I get the ss and her california ID she can start working? O.o

  2. Update: CFO complete. Fyi for Philippines. Even tho you're holding your approved visa and already scheduled for the CFO please keep in mind that before you purchase your plane ticket there's still a possibility that you might be delayed and not make that flight. My Fiancée told me that couple of the k1 applicants with approved visas got sent home and need to return on a later date due to divorce paperwork discrepancy.

  3. You can buy tickets but don't buy them till you have an appointment for CFO. Some timeslots are out 2-4 weeks. Be sure to check and confirm your appointment. It's much quicker and easier to do the CFO in Cebu if that is more convenient. No appointment necessary first come first serve in Cebu. If you buy your tickets give yourself a few days afterwards to insure she did not have any problems where she would have to return.

CEBU noted. Atleast there's a plan B if something goes wrong. I'll buy the ticket tonight. Thanks!

  4. We are planning to get married by mid april here in las vegas. I cant decide yet how the wedding is going to be until she gets the cfo stamp. You should've scheduled her for cfo beacause last time i checked the earliest available schedule was jan 12th. I got her scheduled on jan 7th. They dont allow walk ins anymore.. Go online now if u have time

April us too! You should invite us man lol. Hey I thought it's better to schedule the cfo once they receive the visa? Coz you know,. the sticker stuff?

  5. I got a letter from nvc with mnl number on it b4 thanksgiving day and i scanmail it to her..yes they asked for visa receipt also. Tell her to register online at st lukes website and print it out.

Oh #######! Was I supposed to wait for that letter before I scheduled the interview? I need to double check on Greenbaum's link when I get home I swear I saw something regarding that and that it's cool for my Fiancée to just screen shot the status of her case online.

  6. That's good! I hope everything turns good for both of them on the 23rd. My fiancee had her medical yesterday and she will come back today for the vaccines. She said everything went well at st lukes. Her POE will be in lax probably on the first wk of feb.

Likewise. Also with the LAX POE. If she gets the visa on Jan I'll prolly fly her out ASAP..

Did your Fiancée showed the screen shot of her case to st lukes and copy of receipt mrv for verification?

  7. Greenbaum:

I have a question. I told my fiancee to go for her medical on the 3rd of dec because she might have her monthly cycle on the 2nd week of dec. her interview will be on the 23 and her noa2 will expire on march 2nd. My question is, does her visa still gonna be good if she fly on the 2nd of feb?

My Fiancée is scheduled for interview on the 23 as well! Might be a chance they both get the same flight! ^_^

  8. I'm confused.. Green,Am I doing it right? My case# status is "Ready" Date created was 11/30/2015 and Date updated was 12/03/2015. Does this mean the Embassy in the Philippines already received it? We already paid the visa fee and scheduled the Interview using the online method and its scheduled on Dec 23,2015. All the paperworks are ready she just needs to get the Medical done on Dec 10 and 11.

    Does this sound right?

  9. Hey guys! Been a while! I just got our Case# and Invoice # today. I just called my Fiancée and told her to get the slip and pay immediately so we can get the interview scheduled Asap. Special thanks again to Greenbaum. I'm following your step by step link man!

Oh btw I found a great way to get busy and not to think about this too much.. I applied for a CCW permit so I'm busy with all the trainings and requirements at the moment ha! ^_^

  10. I just looked at her vaccination Documentation worksheet (Form 3025). She received Tdap, MMR, Varicella, and Influenza.

Thank you for this. I now just confirmed base on your info that SLEC always gives out the Tdap and mmr. Varicella & Influenza is new to me so I'll keep that in my notes.

Me and my fiancée doesn't want any delay so we both agreed that she will go get checked up. It all happened so quick the doctor immediately gave her MMR and PDT shots and bam! $100 total bill then the Doctor wants her to come back for 9 more shots that costs 2300php to 4500php each shot. This includes what you just said Varicella that will cost 2200php and Influenza 2300php.

Glad I asked. Seems like this doctor just wants to take advantage. Smh..

Anyone else who wants to share their form 3025?

  11. Relax, what vaccinations are required will be administered by SLEC, if they are missing something it will not stop your fiancee from flying to the states, she can get the missing vaccinations done by the county health clinic.

I was told that sometimes SLEC doesn't have the shots in stock so the applicant needs to go home then call back after a day or a week to see if the shot/vaccine is already available so I figure hey let's ask VJ and see what everyone thinks.. -_- Freaking out man..

  12. My Fiance had no record of immunizations. At the medical they gave here the required injections when she returned to St. Luke's the second day. This was all covered under the medical fee, there were no additional charges.

Do you still remember what shots was given to her the second day? O.o

  13. Hello!

I'm not sure if there's a thread for this topic already but I couldn't find it. -_-

Question regarding the Vaccination requirements of K1 Visa applicants Philippines.

The applicant doesn't have shots/ vaccinations not even a single one since birth. Can't believe it but its for real.

Would this be a problem? Would they give her all the required shots/vaccines on the day of the Medical? If not, does anyone have a list of what shots/vaccines st lukes have/included on the $213.00 medical fee?

I was thinking if st lukes will delay the case just for her to get the shots that st lukes doesn't have "in stock" I'd rather be ahead of time and deal with it now than later.

    Help?
