  1. Hello Everybody,

We had our AOS interview in May 06 at the Miami Office...The Outcome was we will let you know...

Since we haven't heard anything back from them...

Until...Last week, when we received a letter for us to come to an interview at the 1st Floor (last time was at the 3rd floor)...

The Letter is from the Miami Office on a regular format (white paper)...

On the bottom right it says that our last I-485 interview was cancelled!

    ?????

What do they want this time? Anyone with a similar experience?

Any feedback would be really appreciated.

    Thank You

    Jessi & Pierre.

    Have a good week end.

  2. On the case status it says that my case is at the "Missouri Service Center:. Tried to look up at the processing dates but couldn't find the Missouri Service center.

Any comment/ advise would be apprecated.

    Thank You

look for National Benefits Center processing dates...that is the Missouri Service Center...

    Thank You,

I guess they screwed up again since they are telling me that I-130/ 1-485 and Employment authorisations are all in the Missouri Office....Whatever......

    Thanks and good week end

  3. :(

If it makes you feel any better....we are in the same position as yours.

Our interview was 5 Month ago and was told the same thing..."we will let you know once we make a decision"...Still no news from them.

 I think it should be illegal or not authorise; not to give some kind of answer or explanation after an interview...Trust me it creates a great deal of stress and trouble both in our personnal And professional life...Stress and anxiety can create a great deal of Physical and Spychological Troubles...

It is not healthy nor fair to make people go thru it...and I am also surprise that nobody ever thought of those details for the respect of an other human being life....

Just my 2 cents ...I hope this kind of treatment will stay within the BCIS and not be a common way to treat people in other departments...Since freedom, rights & respect of the other is really what matters at the end of the day.

    Good luck

  4. :( We had our interview in Miami in May 06...still no news :crying:

So you'll probably call the USCIS national customer service...they will tell you to wait 4 months so they can give you any informations....after the 4 month they will then tell you to wait 30 more days...after the 30 days they will inquiry with your local office....and still NO NEWS....

Hopefully u won't have to wait so long ...it is nerve breaking and hard to stay focus on the daily flow of life.

    Good Luck.

Let us know how it goes. :D

And by the way how your interview Experience?

  5. I have been approved for my 1st request of Advance Parole; but it is expiring in almost a month.

Unfortunatly my work requires me to travel very often.

Is there anyway to get an extension on the cureent AP;waiting for the renewal (alreday filed)or asked for an emergency authorisation based on what is stated on the BCIS web site, for the local office.

    Thanks.

    JP

  6. Wow.. that's nerve wracking! Hope you hear from them soon and good luck!!!! I wonder what triggered them to interview you seperately?

I hope you get your answer soon

I was wondering the same thing...I have heard of being called a second time and having a Stokes interview where you are interviewed seperately but I have never heard of it at the regular AOS interview. Do you have any idea why they seperated you guys?

:( Unfortunately, i have no idea why they separated us right away.

We had all our papers filed properly, supporting documents and such...i have been in the country for the last 10 years, maintening my status thru EAD and H1-B.

Maybe he thought we didn't match or is it because my wife has 3 children for previous marriage...?

i don't know but it is already nerve breaking t go to the interview,...but when the first thing they do is separate you , u totally lose it and have trouble remembering your own name...

I hope i won't be kept in the dark too long and get an answer fast.

    thanks

  7. Just coming back from interview in Miami.

Answer: "We'll Let u Know!" :crying:

2 is number of times he told Us.

Well, let's start fro the beginning.

Arrived there just on time for our appointment; waited maybe 10 min and got called in.

Really serious and strict officer (no small talks), went on w/ the swearing and the rest.

Than he puts us (me and my wife) in 2 different rooms:

The questions started. He did not really care about the paper proofs we brought.

He focused on how the Appartment was laid out ( even asked diagram)

I am really anxious about the outcome since he did not give us any answer,...and did not even told bye or anything. I had to wait for my wife to come and get me. And she told me let's go, it's finish.

Well, if any of you had a similar experience, please let me know if it looks + or -. :help:

Ps: he did keep my I-94 And i think made a copy of one of our pictures.

I was just very surprised with his attitude.

    Thank You

    Jessi&Pierre

  8. Does the date of the medical matters.

I think i did my medic al in June 2005....Do i need to do more exams?

    Thank You

    Jessica & Pierre

Medicals are usually good for a year. I would contact the doctors office in regards to the actual date when you had your medical and take it from there.

I hope there are some VJ members who have gone through the Miami office and can provide you with a bit more feedback in regards to the interview experiences.

On the same note (a) did you turn in your vaccination supplement and (b)were all your vaccines up to date?

Some VJ members have been asked for an updated medical while others have not. It is really hard to tell.

    :crying:

Thank You I am officially loosing it....

why don't they make it clear on what they want & how.... well i hope the medical and all the rest will be good.

I will let everybody know on how my Interview went.

    Thank You

  9. It is always good to keep copies (for your own record). I hope you do remember what you wrote down (especially dates and addresses) since they may ask questions to verify (POE date, previous addresses, parents' names, etc).

Lately, many VJ members have been sailing through the interviews and these questions were not even asked, but it is always good idea to review these dates (we all know dates sometimes blend into each other :o )

By the way your time lines is not up to date and I am wondering how old is you medical (since you stated that your AOS was filed about a year ago).

    Good luck. :)
