Hi everybody. I sent my son's passport application on 4/11/2023 paying the expedite fees at a local post office in Austin, Texas. Received an update that the application is in process 4/14/2023. My son came to the USA with an IR2 visa on 3/31/2023. Since he is 4 years old he is eligible for US citizenship under The Child Citizenship Act of 2000. I sent the following documents (all originals): My US passport (I am the father) My US naturalization certificate My peruvian birth certificate (official translation) My wife’s peruvian birth certificate (official translation) My son’s peruvian birth certificate (official translation) My peruvian marriage certificate (official translation) My son’s peruvian passport Proof of enrolling my child in preschool
