I didn't have the interview yet. It is 2 weeks from now.

faris2015: I was in line for almost 3 months. It took around 7 months total for a friend of mine from San Diego to get his citizenship.

Hi everyone! I filed for naturalization on May 5th, received on May 8th, fingerprinting done on June 5th, in line for interview on June 8th, Interview scheduled notice on August 4th. The interview is on August 29th. I just received a text message from USCIS saying that my case has been updated, but I see nothing new on the page. The only part that may or may not have been there (I never paid attention) is the next steps "We will issue our decision and mail it to you. Any action or step you may need to take will be on your decision notice". This is quite strange. Has anyone had this happen before? (I got my green card back in 2009)

Edit: I just returned from a short trip to Mexico, so maybe the update to my case is re-entering the country?
