Interview notice 4/20/2021 for May 26 in Philly.

Filed 9/11. Estimated completion May 2021 (6 months). Received first NOA so far.  Figured I better check in since it's been 2 months and no action on my case! Not that I am really worried about it. But it's nice do track these things with people in the same boat, so thank you to all the contributors!

Notice date: May 23. Happens to be our 6 year dating anniversary.

Got the letter in the mail today. No RFE or interview. I haven't applied for naturalization yet. Awaiting new GC.

I haven't gotten an update besides the extension so I signed into USCIS tracker and it appears as if no updates. I manually track the case and it says it was approved on May 24. Will keep you guys posted. Thanks.

Just walk-in with your letter ASAP and get it over with. If they don't allow you in then get a new appointment.I have been to two different application support centers, in two different states, and neither of them were legitimately busy. 

Don't worry guys. I have been in the slow boat before. This time I seem to be in the average boat. Just try to stay patient during regulatory wait times... at that point, call USCIS and explain the problem. When I did this in the past, I got a fair RFE dated 2 days after my phone call. Imagine people who don't use these timelines - their anxiety must be much worse!

We have yet to hear anything (check not cashed, no rejection, etc..).  I called USCIS today and got to tier 2 but they told me they couldnt do anything until the check was cashed.  Is there anything else I can do to follow up or do we just need to wait and keep checking the bank account every day? 

 

 

Yea, definitely keep checking everyday... Maybe even AM, lunch, and PM. Start printing a duplicate copy of your application so it is ready to resend. Also get new original affidavits of support. Is your GC expired?

Did biometrics in Philly yesterday. I arrived 30 minutes early. There was no one in line. After I put my name on the paper, I took it up, and was immediately taken to the back. Had my photo taken and prints checked. In and out in less than 5 minutes. Could not ask for them to be more friendly! They were truly great.

Over the phone would they give me the info or would I have to make an appointment?

Correspondence will be sent to the address you put on the I-751, which is the most current address for any person applying. It wouldn't make sense to do anything else.

Relax - you forgot to give them your up-to-date address, that is not the same thing as a willful failure. Seriously, I would not even bother calling this in if my I-751 had all the correct info including address history and I was not charged with any crime during that time, etc.

Sometimes it takes longer for some applications... constantly thinking about it and checking on it just makes it feel even longer. It won't change the time or the fact if it is not accepted. I learned this the hard way when I originally applied, for AOS, and my application was 1-2 weeks behind everyone else.

Too many of you anxiously wait for each and every little thing. Just go about your everyday lives.  

On Thursday I renewed my PA driver's license, new expiry is Feb 9/19, same day my immigration status expires again. :-) I also am looking forward to becoming a citizen soon. Will keep you guys posted. Thanks for your help.

Mailed mine on Friday and was received today. I am a bit over 60 days into the 90 day window. Page count was 304, all statements (except the advertisement/junk pages), 2016 taxes, 4 leases, car lease, etc.

Just received the RFE in the mail. It's all about proof of income for the petitioner. Even though we sent several years of tax info proving >125% poverty and W2/1099's for 2015 (Submitted before tax return) - I'm really not sure what else can be sent other than paystubs for 2016.

When I received my RFE for that - the sender had underlined and circled what I was missing, and what my options are.

I am not an expert, but in addition to tax returns and W2s, I remember my sponsor also submitted the last five pay stubs.

I have read you can also include a letter from your employer, stating the income and job stability.

I had a similar RFE before I received my EAD. Although everyone's experience varies, and my understanding was that it does reset the clock, it did not take 90 additional days from the time the additional paperwork was submitted. It took less than a month from the time I saw the RFE on the online case status to the time I had my EAD in my hand. Good luck.

I am confused, don't they send me a card not another notice?

AFAIK this is the normal process for everyone. Sounds weird, but it isn't. Browse some filer threads to see how people's cases usually progress.

My EAD case number was updated, however my AP case remained as case was received. When I received the EAD card, it was an EAD/AP combo card.
