Hello. I'm relatively new here, I have some worries. I have a history of self harming, I was 15 when I did it, it happened twice and it did not require me to see a doctor, a psychologist or be hospitalised. I had my medical today, and this question came up, I answered truthfully, said it happened 10 years ago when I was in an abusive relationship, it was a cry for help I guess, I was never depressed and I've never had a past of mental health issues. My doctor wrote notes on the papers and told me he would be very surprised, if they denied me a visa because of this. everything seems fine. but I am still worried. Can they deny me a visa for something that happened 10 years ago? I have a son now and I would never hurt myself or any one.
