God blessed us with a special love story. I was invited to visit the Philippines May '05 by Leonardo's sister Linabelle. We have been former roomies & friends for 17yrs. Besides a family reunion we distributed school supplies & backpacks to 500 children in Manila and surrounding provinces and shared the love of Jesus. Leonardo was our driver and was always very attentive to me. Then he asked for my email so we could "stay in touch". After returning to the US we agreed that I should come back at Christmas to visit with the family. We both wanted him to come to US, but on what type of visa? We went to US Embassy for paperwork and in the car on the way back to the house he asked, "will you marry me?" Of course I said yes! We are so happy and surprised how God brought us together, but all the glory goes to Him! Now the separation and the paper trail begins.
