  1. I figured it out everyone. I really appreciate the help! The account was right. The issue was how I was filling out the I-765. I went to file a document online. Chose my document and chose (c)(9). It then gave me two options to fill out the i765, 1) fill out the form fields or 2) upload a filled out pdf. I was clicking on fill out the form fields and that's when the (c)(9) option disappeared. When I chose upload a filled out pdf, it worked fine.
  2. Actually, thinking about it. I'm fairly sure I saw receipt notices and updates for both the i130 and i485 when I had logged in.
  3. This could be the issue and I will try again when I get home. I'm a U.S. citizen and I thought I had logged in to my wife's account.
  4. On the USCIS website, it lists (c)(9) adjustment of status as one of the categories able to fill out an I-765 online. However, when I login to my USCIS account to e-file the I-765, it doesn't show (c)(9) as an option for online filing. I'm not sure why.
  5. I'm waiting processing on a concurrent I-130 and I-485 filing. I want to send in an I-765 to go with it. Do I need to send this to the Chicago Lockbox where I sent my original concurrent filing? Or should I send it to the Missouri address on my Receipt Notices, i.e. NBC U.S. Citizenship and Immigration, Lee's Summit, MO? Thanks for the help!
  6. I am the sponsor for my J-1 wife going through concurrent filing. We received a RFE for my i864ez. I am the sole sponsor. We did not file jointly. I included tax transcripts for the last 3 filing seasons. The reason for the RFE states that the filer needs to include w2s and 1099s for the recent tax year. So I guess my question is do I need to include w2s and 1099s for tax year 2023 (the instructions said this wasn't needed)? Or is the RFE trying to tell me i need to finish my 2024 taxes and include this info? Thanks for the help!
  7. My spouse is currently in the United States on a J1 visa. We got married in the United States while she was on her J1. Her J1 does not have a 2-year home residency requirement. We are planning on concurrently filing i130 and i485 to adjust her status. Filing the i485 allows her to stay in the United States while it's processing, but does it allow her to work once her J1 expires? Or does she need to apply for i765 as well? Thanks for the time.
  8. I had already assumed we would need to send in a significant amount more of evidence proving our marriage is authentic. This is her 2nd time in the US on a j1 visa. We met during her first stay as her internship was where I live in Florida. Tennessee was the closest she could be this stay in her program. We got married in Florida. The plan is to file these documents concurrently and when her j1 internship is completed she will move in with me. Her name is already on my lease.
  9. Does it matter what lockbox I concurrently file to then? Will the process both apps in the same location, or transfer the other? I live in Florida so my i130 goes to Chicago. Since she lives in TN her lockbox is Phoenix. Which one should I concurrently file to?
  10. Her visa states she is not subject to 212(e).
  11. I'm a petitioner living in Florida and my spouse beneficiary (j1 visa holder) is currently living in Tennessee for a work internship. We are filing both i-130 and i-485. My question is: Are we still allowed to file concurrently? I was planning on sending both applications together; however, the two states have different lockboxes. Do I need to send the i-130 to one lockbox, wait for notice they received the application, then send the i-485 to the other lockbox? Also, I'm planning on putting her current residence on questions 61.a & b regarding where she will apply for adjustment of status. However, by the time this gets approved she might be back home with me. I appreciate the help!
