I'm in US in F-1, doing my OPT now until the end of June. I just found out that I'm a DV Lottery for 2016. When is safe for me to apply for AOS? I've already file the DS-260 online form and pay the dv lottery fees. Can I apply for AOS before my status expire or do I need to go back to school to keep my student status until October when the fiscal year starts? Thank you very much.
