We met 3.5 years ago. Joergen was in the U.S. for some company training and to use some of his free time, was looking for someone that shared his interest of ballroom dancing. Being a ballroom dance teacher he came across my profile online. Strange thing was, neither of us was looking for a relationship, just wanted some practice dancing. To our surprise, we immediate felt at ease with each other. It really was a "coming home" feeling. Just a few times more getting together and we both fell in love.
After that we spent many many hours through emails, but have since moved over to texting, which has allowed us to share our daily lives. From the beginning we have truly believed that from the day we met, to this visa journey, it has been all part of God's plan.
For the next 3.5 years Joergen would come to the U.S. every 3-4 months using mostly personal vacation time. But one of the hardest things in life is that heartwrenching goodbye at the airport each time...and then the lonely time apart waiting for the happy moment he comes again. What a journey it has been but we are so ready to finally be together every day, ...what a blessing we will always cherish! We are true soulmates without a doubt.
