Well in my case, I have nothing to worry about as they have not left me a message if they did call me.
I already received the email about the expedited approval.
I have also been sending emails to inquire about case arrival to the embassy and they said they will send me instructions shortly.
So I am expecting to receive the p4 interview packet this upcoming week then.
Because my CEAC also shows that in the text for Ready.

Ok, I need help! My case changed to ready after being in transit for one day only. What I do now? I tried to go to ustraveldocs.com and see if I can schedule my interview , but they saying wait after you get a letter from embassy . Also, they list 3 groups and I think I belong to group 3 ( need VAC and Embassy appointment), but I was scared to proceed further with my choices. What I should do now? Wait?
Maybe you should try emailing your embassy and ask them what to do now.

I have seen more than one post about embassy's calling you with an expedite request.
What happens if I miss their call?
I am bad about answering a u.s. number I do not recognize.
I have been communicating with them thru email though....
My case has said ready since October 14, and the status was last updated October 21.

Hi Zakirah note that for the medical, you husband have to do it at least 15day before his interview date.
I have read 7-10 days.
And that is what we will do once we receive interview date (my case was expedited)
Thank you!

Do not I repeat do not give any western union you sent. No good thing will become of it. Everything else looks good.
Okay, thank you!

i completed the ds260 form and submitted it but i couldnt print the confirmation page ( bad printer) and i emailed it but i didnt get the confirmation page on email either.
it shows completed.
i tried to get it by ceac---- iv applicant --- view..... it showed as editable ... do i have to resubmit it again?
how can i get the confirmation page?
DO NOT resubmit!
That will put you in the back of the waiting line.
But sometimes the email takes a day or so to come to email.
But you can always print out the review pages.

My interview is scheduled for December 9, how and where can I request to see if I can be re-scheduled for an earlier date.
Email your embassy and ask.

Can I reopen this thread to ask about suggestions for making advance travel in order to take care of both medical exam and interview?
My husband will be traveling to Senegal from The Gambia (10-hour ride) for his interview, so that means he needs about 2 weeks in Dakar. Luckily we know people and he has some family there, but I still wanted to know what did you all do?
-
So, BAM, everything has been sent, and now i just get to gnaw on my nails until I hear back.
Took me more than an hour to complete and review the DS-260 with a few minutes researching specific questions here and there, even having all my information ready...for those of you who haven't gotten to the DS-260 yet, I strongly suggest going to the guides and/or looking at the sample form available on the government site, so you can gather up all the information you'll need ahead of time.
I second this post...because it actually took me two days to complete.
I thought I had all the information even with the sample ds 260, but between my work schedule and the time difference between my husband and I, when I was working on it, he was sleep, so I had to send him the questions with info I needed.
But I will say reviewing the sample provided on the travel.state.gov website is super helpful!

Did you know, that you can observe any changes being made on the visa case once it is at the embassy by looking at the updated date on the visa case status check on CEAC?
Maybe it is just me because my case was expedited.
But on ceac.state.gov, once I enter the case number it says Ready, then case number, then case creation date, and then status updated date. I checked it when I saw on DHL that the case arrived to Dakar and it showed that same date...and then I just checked it tonight...and it actually showed today's date instead...
I know that means I will be hearing something in regards to an interview soon, because I actually emailed my embassy yesterday to ask them a question and to ask them about the status of the case and in regards to an interview date, and the response was you will receive instructions shortly...and usually...in the American language...shortly means a couple of days if not hours!
-
it is better to paper clip and label each page with case number and page numbers.
-
I got my expedite request approved too on October 7th.
It was sent to the embassy on October 9th, and CEAC showed Ready on October 13th. So I am now waiting on what is next in regards to the interview.
-
I am so excited.
I checked CEAC today and the Dakar Embassy says ready, meaning they have received the case!
Yay!
Now for those who have had an expedited case...
We email them to request the interview, right? Or I still wait for that interview letter thru email?
-
Okay will do thank you.

Hi.
I was browsing VJ some time ago, and came across a review of some kind in which someone mentioned a doctor in The Gambia, in which medical exams can be conducted.
Officially, my husband is supposed to get his medical done at least 10 days before interview in Dakar, however I did see something about one Embassy approved Dr. in The Gambia.
Any idea on how I can find that information?
Or is it my best bet to email and ask the Dakar embassy?
-
Hi all.
My husband's case has officially left NVC and is now in Dakar, Senegal, on a medical expedite.
Still waiting on case complete and interview email but I know it will be coming soon.
-
I am so excited!
I just tracked my case thru DHL and it has arrived in Dakar, Senegal today! It left NVC on Friday, October 9th!
Soon I should get an email in regards to an interview date!
-
Just to put an update on my husband's case...it was expedited, so it is currently on it's way to Dakar, Senegal. Since Monday is a holiday, I am expecting to provide you all with an update in regards to an interview date this week...
-
Just a note that NVC and Embassies will observe the American Holiday on October 12th, which means no emails, phone calls, or case updates.
-
So as of today my husband's case is in transit to the embassy.
I had an approved medical expedite.
My documents were submitted, all fees were submitted, and the DS 260 was completed too.
Praying for Dakar to move quickly!
-
Lol, Boiler.
Okay got it Debbie.

You can send documents that prove a bonafide (real) marriage with the I-130 package.
For example, I sent:
Chat logs, pictures, air ticket receipts and itinerary, and journal entries where I talked about my trip, and my husband.
-
I had a question about that sex interview question.
What is typically a good answer?
I know aside from being as honest as possible....and if you don't remember or know how many times, you just don't.
But do you think a high number is a good or bad thing?
Is a low number a good or bad thing?
I am asking this is if you are interviewing for a spousal visa.
Expedite Request Approved :)

LOL
But they will respond to the email.
I think that is the default email for all embassies, because mine sends and autoresponder, and then if not 24 hours, then 3 days later they will respond.
I am not sure about your country using ustraveldocs, but my country does not so I am simply waiting to hear from the embassy. I have included in more than one email my preferred interview date.
