We met as many couples do today, on-line. After six months or so of communicating we decided to move forward and Hemza asked me to marry him in February 2013. We attempted the K-1 Fiance Visa without meeting face to face because I have a young son with psychological disabilities and an elderly mother who I assist in providing care for. Sent our initial petition in March 2013, received the denial in November 2013 because we had not met face to face. So sat down with my children and mother and discussed the possibility of me making the trip to Algeria. Plans began and on April 23, 2014 I boarded a plane to go to Algeria. We had our betrothal ceremony on Friday, April 25, 2014. Together we spend a wonderous two weeks talking about our new life together. It was the most enjoyable trip of my life. Now our life is in the hands of those who will decide if the visa should be granted or not. Just sitting back and waiting and dialing the NVC number multiple times a day. Praying soon to be holding my angel in my arms again. Then looking forward to a bright future together. I love this man with all my heart and no words can express the true depths of my love for him.
