That doesn't sound too good. Well my SO should call or contact the uscis but he isn't in the states atm. Means I have no idea if he can contact them...But we're still within the 5 months time frame. If we don't get our NOA2 by the end of May we have to contact them, I guess.

There are not enough recent approvals in the timeline system to accurately approximate when your I-130 will be approved. Please see the Timeline Stats page to see recent approvals.
This is what I've been reading for the last 4 Weeks now...My guess is, that my petition will be approved until end of July/early August. Let's stay positive and everything will be fine
-
nope. nothing's changed. Just checked out status and it still says "case was received"..though we asked the uscis to expedite our case and on the uscis website it says that it was completed and my SO didn't get an email wether it was denied or approved so I'm assuming they approved the expedited request....

VSC filer here.
I don't even know what to say. This process is getting more and more nerve wrecking.
It's not just that I am still waiting for the petition to be approved..no other things in my life seem to go terribly wrong, too.
This stress is freaking me out. I just want to sleep well at night, I don't want to waste my time thinking about what could happen or how long it'll take for the petition to be approved.
I just want a clear date. Or at least a date that tells me how long we have to wait to be back together in eachothers arms.
A couple of weeks ago I had prediction dates on my timelime but not anymore....THey ranges betweem end of June - mid october....
AWESOME....not

agreed.
For me the worst part is (I guess for all of us) not knowing an exact date or at least an approximate date. And I am not talking the ones on the USCIS or VJ page because they are not exact. I mean a date for each case. That would help so much.
-
I know right!! We should have already heard something from them...
Well, I once tried not to go on the USCIS page everyday...but I have to cause I want to know
-
I can't believe it....as if it wouldn't be hard enough to be apart from our loved ones...it's like a torture....
I haven't spent as much time at the USCIS as you guys but still....it's annoying, frustrating and there are days when I completely feel lost....with no hope...
I am not a TSC but a VSC filer. I don't even think that our petition will get approved in the near future...sadly...
-
hello VSC filers....anything new?
-
yes....and it seems like there's no end in sight...worst thing is...others who filed in february or march already got approved while wer are still waiting for our petitions to be approved...this is so frustrating...

this is what it says on my timeline....
but it wasn't always like that....3 or 4 weeks ago it said Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between June 28, 2015 and October XX, 2015.....
Every day that passes it gets more and more annoying...ugh...wish I could travel in time...

mardar: my SO is in the military
-
Mardar: SO deployed last week. There is a special hotline for service members

yup. Same here. Our priority date was January 9...
We asked for our petition to be expedited. On the USCIS page it says completed but we didn't get a letter neither an email...
VSC is currently working on petitions with NOA 1 date February 8...i just don't get it......
-
How are my fellow January filers doing? Anything new?
-
My priority date is January 9...what does that mean??
-
Okay so the VSC is now working on Petitions with NOA 1 dates January 9.
SO the NOA 1 date is the received date or the notice date?
Our received date is January 9 and notice date January 12...that means we should here from them (very) soon, right?
-
hey,
I'm just wondering how much savings you had when you entered the us? I'm totally freaking out over this because I can save money but it bothers me that it's not as much as I want to.
(My SO can def. support the both of us but I'd feel bad....)
-
okay thank you!
He didn't receive an email though...this is from our my case section from the uscis page.
Well I hope our request got approved. Totally exhausted and I am tired of being stuck here in Germany and being lonely...
-
this is what I was thinking...I'm not really sure if the expedite request has been approved because the uscis told my SO they would call him after a week but they didn't...and that's what the uscis page says.
-
VSC from the beginning.
-
Hey guys,
does this mean that our expedite request got approved?
On XXXX your request to have your case expedited, referral number XXXX, was completed.
TIA
-
so my SO called USCIS yesterday and the lady on the phone put a expedite request in since my SO will deploy soon and we're still waiting for our NOA 2 (VSC)
-
Meaning that it wasn't rejected though, right?
exactly!
-
yes. We filed the I-130 and it says the same. It's just the receipt notice though
January 2015 I-130 filers!

don't forget: good things will come to those who wait...
still...this whole process is not fair...some get approved within a month or so and others have to wait for almost a year which is not right at all...but yea...let's just be patient and things will work out...
