If its been 6 months or since you submitted your waiver, you will definetly get a faster response if you contact your congress person.

You can find them looking them up on the web by there name, in whatever state you live in. If you have a lawyer they could help you out contacting them.

Yes but for what I know the congress person has more chances of getting a quicker response than the lawyer.... my husbands waiver was received June 27 2014 and according to my lawyer it wasn't going to take more than 6 months, our lawyer would sent emails to them and nothing... we got the congress man involved in April and one week later his waiver was approved

Just wanted to let you guys know that if your waiver is past 6 months I highly recommend you to get your congress man/woman involved to get a quicker response....my husbands waiver took 10 months...until congress man got involved got answer in a week

Does anyone know what we can do in this situation???.... so my husband went to pick up his visa at a dhl office and the packet that is supposed to be sealed was open so he was on his way here and at the border an officer took away the packet told him he had to go back to Juarez and he explained to the officer that he didnt open it...we dont know what to do... anyone???

Garen....you should contact the senator.....my husband was put on a waiting list since June 9 and they told him he had to wait 3 months which will be on Sep. 9 hopefully by then we hear something

One week after we got the senator involved they aproved him.... he's been aproved since april 28... haven't heard anything since then.

We were aproved after 10 months and to this date my husband has not had a second interview for his visa!!!

Lovemytico i call every other day to the embassy and all they tell us is that he's on a waiting list for an appointment\interview....what else can i do??

Karenberna my husband called the consulate in juarez and they told him that his attorney has to fill out electronically the form ds260 for them to proceed with his case

Karenberna... I got the approval notice here in the US but not the instructions letter... neither has my husband in Mexico.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the instructions letter after we've been approved on the waiver???
