I found them last year and I confronted him and told him why are you trying to do this ? you know that our marriage was real and has nothing to do with just GC.he said I did not send them at all,only wrote them and saved them in my computer. That is why I couldn’t apply for my citizenship because I don’t know exactly what he did? may be he called them or may be only he sent those letters that I found last year. we got divorced last year

My waiver was for overstaying my visa. as I replied earlier I came on fiance or k1 visa but did not marry the same guy.

Thank you for your reply. he is been verbally abusing me for a long time and if I say to him it is not my problem you loose your money at the casino he will threaten me to report it at the ice. I told him he can’t do that because I stayed with you for 10 years and had 2 kids together. that does prove that the marriage was legit and real. I already protected my self and my kids by getting a place for us and we are safe now.

No,not my ex husband. I came on k1 visa to marry a deferent guy but things did not work out so I ended up overstaying as you may know if you don’t get married in the 90 days that you have, you have no other option but to leave the country. I meet my ex husband after that and we got married and he is the petitioner. That is why I left the country and attend the interview in my country when I got my waiver of 601a approved here at the USA. and since we were married more than 2 years I got a permanent resident. hopefully I did explain every thing.

I tried not to worry but he is threatening almost every day. he completely lost it, he even showed me the long letter that he wrote on his laptop but as I said before I have no idea if he already send it to the uscis or not? my waiver was for unlawful presence because I overstated my visa . I come as fiancé visa k1 and did not marry him because he changed his mind. I did not go back to my country and stayed here until I applied for the lawful presence waiver and got approved and then went back for interview in the embassy overseas.

Hello all, I really need help please! I applied for 601a my waiver was approved. we got married in 2012 and I became permanent resident since 2017 we have 2 kids and my marriage was real and we were in love and had a perfect relationship. things got bad on 2021 and we both agreed on divorce because he was a gambler that spend all his money gambling. now that I m divorced I m applying for citizenship soon. I have a clean records paid my tax every year. now I m terrified to apply for citizenship because he said he sent letters to uscis a couple time saying that I married him only for green card and the marriage was fraud. not true because I stayed with this man for over 10 years and helped him financially and emotionally even if he has a very good job and make a lot of money. any way to make this story short, I don’t know if he really sent the letters to uscis or no? what can happen to me in my interview if they got letters from him saying I married him for only GC? i m getting denied for citizenship? I did not do any thing wrong. Only I got divorced because my kids doesn’t deserve to live with some one like him who gets paid over &150k and spend them all in gambling. and at the end of the month he want me to pay for rent and other expenses. any advices on what to do before I apply for my citizenship.
