  1. I just had my interview this am, everything went well. I will be scheduled for the Ceremony in 2/3 weeks!
  2. thanks. I think this is what I'm going to do. I'm going to read just once the "learn about the US" then I printed only the 100 questions with answer, and I will be focusing on the latter till my Interview day.
  3. I was suggested from the agency I used for my Naturalization process to study the "Learn About the US" to prepare for the civic test, link below https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/flash-cards/M-638_red.pdf what do you guys like or recommend? is it still the 2008 version ok? should I watch some documentaries or something else or just focus on memorizing the 100 question for the civic test? what do you think about this: https://americanhistory.si.edu/citizenship/learn/government-basics/intro,
  4. I'm not sure they gave me the correct answer, as on the self-help court website here in CA, as a way to legally chage your name, it is still listed during the naturalization process. Beside, they say doing it with the court can take 2 to 3 months and cost around $400, I may just try during the interview https://selfhelp.courts.ca.gov/name-change/citizenship
  5. I used an agency to fill in my papers, and that is what they told me to do if I wanted to change my name. Beside I'm not really changing my name, my first name is two separate words but they are pronounced together, so I just want to unite the two words
  6. I was told in Los Angeles at the interview it is no longer possible to change the name, therefore I was instructed to change my name with the court first, and bring in the paper at the interview. I'm wondering if in this case it is possible to get a same day oath
  7. I applied on August 05 and I'm scheduled for the interview on 12/17 in Los Angeles CA.
