Me and my wife met in high school in 1999 and were good friend for a long time. she had her work permit thru her parents thru the years because she was under age. Her parents aventually got their permanent resident in 2003 after a delay in the process because of the 9/11 attacks at this time my wife was over 21 and couldn't get her green card. She was not informed of anything that she could do at the time or what to do lost in space. In late 2003 we started dating, had our first daughter Mia in late 2004 we have been together through tough times and easy ones she has had many jobs thru the years being a waitress didn't really think about her being legal thru the years. her mom had file an i130 back in like 04/05 so we were always thinking of when that would come in and never did. We had our second son max in 2010 we got married in February 2012 and then like a month after we got married her moms i130 had been approved but now I didn't matter because she was married to me once again bad luck. So I started to file paper work for her on my behalf in August 2012 and the i130 was approved I think back in August of 2013 then we had to file all the paper work with the visa center that was completed in like May of this year 2014 she had her appointment in honduras in September of this year and we sent in the waiver i601 to the lock box in Phoenix AZ and we are waiting on an approval. I'm a green card holder so we could not do the waiver process here in the USA. We are a split family she took our son to honduras while the process takes place and I kept our daughter. The main reason Mia goes to school and max doesn't yet. I hope this goes fast sometimes I think that maybe they should have just stayed. It's hard being split and missing them. I try to be positive and be hopeful but it's hard.......
