Both Parents picked up there Visas Alhumdulilah! It was a long journey but GOD Alhumdulilah made it easier!

Child birth certificate & FRC or passport or any documents related to the child, you must bring to the interview bcz it is more genuine evidence of your bonafide marriage. If you visited pakistan, I suggest make a photocopy of your passport front page & than all the stamps pages showing what day you entered pakistan & left. otherwise all documents you uploaded are more than enough! Best of Luck!

Parents Visa status said “Issued” today, very happy to see that all! i just wanna clarify something: 1- There’s no need of Pakistani police certificate at all in Islamabad embassy so don’t waste your time on it. 2-Family Registration Certificate from Nadra has big importance there, For example I sent my parents my original birth certificate which was delayed in transit but my parents bring Certified copy of my birth certificate from local union council (it is just a photo copy paper having sign of official and you have to notarized it) but Embassy personnel didn’t take it , he said, he needs original birth certificate but he ended up saying if you have FRC, it can be accepted as a substitute of birth certificate, luckily my Parents had it. I know its a long term 3 year’s journey but everything have to ended up one day. if anybody needs any help i will always be here! Thanks Allah & Thanks again all for your greater help!

Anybody knows if Petitioner uploads his new i-864 Sponsorship form & all the recent pay stubs & tax transcript into NVC website, Does his beneficiary (in case my parents) still needs to bring the copy of all these documents at the time of interview?

Mistake In I-864 regarding Domicile Question
Shabaz replied to Shabaz's topic in National Visa Center (Dept of State)
Please avoid overthinking when filling i-864, I recommend first spend your time reading the i 864 full instructions, Its 3 pages long and explains every part of i 864 thoroughly. Secondly some point are general sense like writing N/A at mailing address, Its completely fine to write N/A at mailing address if its same as physical address, Nvc not gonna give you RFE for these small mistakes. Only thing they care if you do technical mistakes like not reporting your correct income, not adding dependent, not realistic estimate of your current income etc -

The Marriage System in Pakistan is different than Europe & US. If you guys are married previously in pakistan and the marriage is registered no matter it is Urdu nikah nama only or nadra because all past urdu nikah namas were transferred to Nadra when this system was introduced. The thing is that if you married in other than US, your marriage is registered in both country like US & Pakistan so in short you should apply for divorce in both country, the exception in Pakistan you are allowed to do second marriage (because our religion allows multiple marriages at same time) while you are not officially divorced in nadra system from previous marriage. If yours interview are near I suggest you to start divorce process in your relevant Municipal Committee,The process takes 90 - 120 days to be completed, I know you have less days until your interview but at least your process is already started. No need to Worry, At the time of your interview just explain your situation to CO if they specifically asked about it, otherwise Your US decree is enough to prove that you guys were divorced, Thanks

Did your Marriage registered in Pakistan, i meant did you get urdu & nadra marriage certificate in Pakistan ?

Congratulations! I am glad you share all the interview details with us. As you mentioned, Co asked about Police certificate too, are you sure, because the Visa website clearly Says no need to have police certificate in Pakistan because here someone can easily jeopardize it. My parents interview is on 11 Dec & they didn’t make police certificate yet & don’t have intentions too but as they asked it from your wife it’s alarming, so can you ask your wife again, did Co ask police certificate specifically? Thanks
