A bit about my case, married, got divorced and applied to change my name on the 10 year green card about 6 years after becoming a LPR. Its been more than 2.5 years now and my name change was not approved yet, so I decided to apply for naturalization (doing this cause its a hassle when traveling if your green card name is different than you passport, have to have so many documents to prove I can legally enter US - had this issue over the summer ppl hated me for waiting in line for to many Q's, anyway....).
Applied for naturalization, and just now got a notice that they are not expecting me for new fingerprints and biometrics, because they can reuse the ones on file. From those who applied recently for your N-400, were you asked to go in for biometrics?
Just want to make sure that my name change case is not going to create any issues for my naturalization process.
