We met (April 2010) and got engaged (October 2011) in Myanmar. We got married in Phuket, Thailand on November 21, 2012. We filed for the visa in April of 2013. We're stuck here in Myanmar until we get the visa. We decided to wait together, rather than separately. Leave me a message if you have any advice or positive comments!
