  1. Same situation here. Was told last friday that 60days script. AOS still remains paid.

I check at the sumarry page using either the first or the third link of the ceac page.

What's weird now is that i can no longer access the payment link which previously i can.

I really hope for a cc. Scan date october 6 for both packages that we sent together..

Call them back again on Monday. I hope we all hear good news on monday.

  2. don't pay any mind to the reps, either they are told to stick to the 60 days scripts all the time or they don't see the info until certain time of the process.

the same thing happened to me. i called in the am was told that my docs have not been reviewed yet at around noon the AOS fee changed to NA.

so yes it's case complete. Congrats.

Really..omg..thank you soo much.u just made my day. Hearing from you who had similar experience making me believe its a cc.. did ur iv changed NA aswell. Mine still showing paid. Just aos changed NA.

  3. Hello all!

First off, I have to say I have followed this forum since my case got to the NVC in June and have gotten lots of useful tips, learned the lingos etc etc.

Great to finally write a post and especially with good news.

So my AOS fee changed from paid to N/A today and thank the Lord, I have a case complete!. Phoned the NVC and after being on hold for 55mins I spoke to one of the reps (Ariel) who confirmed it.

I got back from work at 11pm and it was a great way to end the evening.

Last scan date September 3rd! A miracle, I know.

    No checklists. Praise the Lord.

congratulations. :) you are so lucky to get the cc soo soon. Did u do ep or snail mail?

My case got to the NVC in June, but as an F2A. Took almost 2months to get it upgraded to IR1 after my husband became a citizen!

Then came the 30day wait to 30business days and now 60days.

If I have learned nothing else in this whole ordeal, it is that patience is a garment that must worn all day everyday.

I can identify with people who check every email waiting for that one email from the NVC.

My husband did most of the paper work but we were SUPER organized, i.e OCD type. Made sure we had everything and more before sending off docs. Attached cover letters to everything.

Saylin's guide is gold I must say (Thank you).

I read the travel.state.gov website line by line and can pretty much recite all the requirements by heart.

Knowing what originals you need plus copies is vital.

I know the feeling of seeing others whose cases have been completed and wishing the rest of us goodluck but still feeling left out.

This post is to say, it will happen to you too! That paid fee will change to N/A when you least expect it.

Feel free to ask me any questions.

    Sorry for the long post!

omg sorry abt the previous post.. congratulations. I am so happy for u. Did u do the snail mail or EP? Did u expedite your case ?

  5. Alright - got the e-mail for the IV processing fee (YAY!) but aside from that I'm just wondering with all of the AOS checklists going around - am I assuming right that perhaps ours will be easier since we are not going through all of the taxes/W2's or the such? I am the USC and a SAHM living outside of the US for over 9 years. We are only providing assets and a job offer contract to sustain us.

Has anyone just put assets acrossed and how does it affect your processing? Is it easier because I will literally be putting 0 on incomes and tax information? I will of course put acrossed a cover sheet stating the reason why I did not file taxes but our assets are well over the poverty line for our household.

Hi..I am using just my employment letter and 6 moths of paystub. Hopefully that will do the magic. My income this year is above the proverty line eventhough 2013,12, and 11 is 0, so I called nvc 4 times to ask about the joint sponsor 2 representative said this should be ok and ofcourse one said include the sponsor. Anyways I am sending all my paperwork s without joint sponsors.

  6. Thanks guys! We just found out that we were approved, and the husband is scheduled for his interview on June 16th! I didn't end up co-sponsor in the end. For those of you curious how I was approved considering the situation I described above, here is what I submitted in addition to my tax transcripts:

    - 6 months paystubs (though they seemed redundant given the employment letter)

    - documentation from my employer: one letter from payroll indicated my annual salary ($20,159) and another letter saying how long my position (funding as a graduate assistant) would last for (i.e. 3-5 years contingent on degree progress)

    - additional financial assets

    - copies of my monthly bank account statements going back 6 months and demonstrating steady savings (~$1,500)

    - notarized copies of savings bonds and they're estimated value from the treasury.gov website (~$1,100)

    - the annual statement for my roth IRA (~$3,000)

I don't know what if any of this was superfluous, but I went out all out and it worked!

I am in similar situation now. I dont have tax info for last 3 years because I was full time student with no income. This year I started working and my estimated income is 37 k. Do I need a co sponsor. ? Plz help. All I have is paystubs and employment letter

  7.

    Hi

My case was completed by NVC (april 2 2014 ) ( done with i864 and iv package n everything) .was waiting for interview to be scheduled at consulate but NVC Did not schedule it coz my PD was't current yet as i was in F2a category.

But recently my spouse has become US ( may 28 ,2014) we have sent certificate of citizenship to NVC on same day. But from that day (15 bussiness days) our case has not been updated.we only recevied an email stating its being recieved and "under review"

1.After email "upgradtion is under review" how long does NVC takes to upgrade case to cr1??

2.If case got completed how long will it takes to schedule interview??
