Hi Mari26, I just got an update on my AOS status, my interview is scheduled for September 4th Did you received your EAD yet? Just faxed a letter to USCIS for an expedite EAD, hope it's gonna work, it's been 77 days and nothing about the EAD about the interview I was gonna bring the same things as you.

I was wondering ... what are you guys planning on taking to the interview? =/ I mean besides a couple of pictures, and like bank statements, insurance, 401K... Is that enough? IDK xD

Hi everyone! I'm new on this forum.

I am a May filer too, filed for AOS and EAD on May 12th, received date is May 14th. Biometrics were done on July 1st. My AOS is on testing and interview since July 9th I would say, but absolutely no updates at all on my EAD on the website it drives me crazy as I have a pending job offer, I don't know if they are going to wait for me any longer, it's been 76 days since they received my package. If I could at least get an update online it would be great, but no they can't even find my receipt number! I tried to call uscis a few times but they are useless! Got a service request for en expedite EAD but my "future" employer doesn't want to write a letter for me as he wants to see if I'll be good enough for the job (he wants to try for 3 days without really hiring me I guess I don't know). Any help/advice or people in the same situation as mine would be appreciated!

Everything was delayed because I sent the applications together, might be different for you I don't know. I sent everything in mid-April and it took them 2 weeks to say it was rejected... Then I had to wait 10 days for my application to be accepted.

Hi. I submitted I-130, I-485 and I-765 but I only received 2 emails with receipt number for I-130 and I-485 so today I called USCIS and found out the receipt number for I-765 and I checked online and it says,

we determined that this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION was not properly filed because the application or petition was not signed and the fee you submitted was not correct. Therefore, we have rejected your case and returned it to you, including all supporting materials and the incorrect fee. Please review the instructions on the rejection notice you received prior to re-submitting your case.

I thought I-765 is free as long as I filed it with I-130 and I-485, correct?

The other 2 forms are under initial reviews, so am I only getting I-765 form back?

When I reapply byitself do I have to include the fee?

Hi, I had the same problem because I sent more money that I had to, in one check, I had to send it back with the correct fee. I-765 is free with I-130 and I-485. My application got delayed though :/

In your biometric appointment, it will list all application numbers which the biometric serves, you will find I-765 receipt number there. EAD is usually 30 days after the biometrics so you will hear from them soon.

I already have my receipt number, it says they can not find it. I guess I just have to be patient! Thanks

-filed for I-130/I-485 and I-765 on May 12th 2014 to Chicago lock box

-RECEIVED DATE: May 14th National Benefit Center

-Biometrics done July 1st

-I-485: on Testing and Interview right now since July 9th

Here's the thing, I'm able to see my updates on the I-485 but not for the I-765. It says that they can't find my receipt number. I called USCIS a few times and finally got a Service Request, don't know what it means exactly though. How long does it take to get the interview appointment?

I have a job offer for the end of July or beginning of August, they are waiting for me but not sure how long they are gonna wait. I'm worried because I don't have any sign of my EAD, I know it hasn't been 90 days yet, but still no updates on my case. Anyone has the same issue? I'm worried that I won't get the job.

Good for you you should receive your EAD soon! Was it on initial review before that? Because they didn't upload my receipt number so I'm not able to see anything yet. Did you have the biometrics too? Thank you!
