  1. That is incredibly helpful since you were in the same situation. Thank you.
  2. My letter has a note stapled that says no more than 2 people
  3. Thanks for the quick reply. Do I need a police statement to explain my expired green card is lost or an additional paper to bring with me and sign? I’m going crazy looking everywhere and I still have the paper it came with which has the barcode to scan if lost.
  4. I have received a letter in the mail for my oath ceremony date and it states I need to bring all my current and expired green cards. I have my old employment authorization card and current green card but I appear to have lost or misplaces the 3 years green card I had a while ago. That card expired back in 2018, if I remember correctly and I can’t file a form for a lost green card that is no longer valid. Has anyone else run into this issue and how big of a problem will this be?
  5. What can I do if I lost my old expired green card? I have my employment authorization one, my 3 years green card is gone and my 10 years one which is current I do have.
  6. My letter was mailed! Looks like my oath will be at the beginning of July!
  7. Nope, still checking for a date for the ceremony so I can be done with this and nothing so far…
  8. Checking every day and no movement for the oath ceremony. Still stuck at quality review, placed in line for oath ceremony. It’s driving me crazy.
  9. They did not. They said they would contact me and they use different offices for the oath so I’m not even sure which one I’m going to or if it’s going to be a courthouse.
  10. Cleveland and I sent it on the middle of March. Still nothing about my oath date. Just says I’m placed in line for the ceremory.
  11. Had my interview earlier this week and was recommended for approval! Now waiting to see an update online or in the mail.
  12. Got an email saying action was taken on my case but no updates on my account and my interview is coming up quick 🙃
  13. Looks like I've been studying from the right list. Thanks for the help!
  14. Filed over the past week end and I have an appointment day. Unsure whether I should study for the 2008 or 2020 civics test or how many questions will be asked.
  15. If it takes less paperwork I might go this route then.
  16. My husband and I have been married for nearly a decade and I finally decided to apply for citizenship this month. I'm trying to fill out the form online and I am not sure what to select for when I worked in retail from the drop down menu or if I should add an additional paper to explain what I did while I was employed in retail? Also, is it ok to provide proof of where I worked and lived for the past 5 years only or should I go beyond that since we've been together for so long? Similar question in regards to tax: is it acceptable to send a copy of the last 3 tax returns or should we go beyond that? Is there a difference between getting tax transcripts and scanning the papers printed when we e-file with our tax guy? For those of you that filed online did you bring all the originals of what was scanned at the interview? Is it ok to just go there with my green card and appointment paper once I receive one?
