We met in 2013 in CR and dated long distance for 3 years prior to our K1 visa. Fredy entered the states late 2016 and it was a big adjustment for us both. We had some challenges and did not marry until well past the 90 days (2017) but finally have AOS pending. We are lucky to have found each other--but both of us never anticipated all of the challenges we'd face with coming from such different backgrounds. Patience and respect have been the keys to making it work and we wish everyone the best in their visa journeys!
