My fiancee and I went to the same high school in Ghana. I knew him because he was very active in school activities but he didn't remember me :( (I wasn't too interested in any activities).
We reconnected on Facebook! We started chatting , then we Skyped one time and exchanged phone numbers. I visited Ghana without his prior knowledge. I called him while in Ghana. He didn't believe that I was calling him from a local line. We scheduled to meet a couple of days after.We met at a restaurant on one hot Saturday afternoon because I was paranoid about meeting anybody at night. By the way, I brought my cousin along with me..lol. Before you me, let me say that aside my paranoia, I had been away from Ghana for quite some time and I needed help navigating around town.
Our meeting was a huge success :)...I returned to the states to finish school while we maintain the relationship through social media, phone calls and whatever means available. I returned to Ghana after graduation and we got engaged on Feb 14, 2013 :)...Getting my sweetheart to join me is my current big project..I am here to get help and share :)
