I made the inquiry on February 2nd with a Tier II officer. I received a generic response to my inquiry yesterday and approval today! I also made an online inquiry yesterday but I don't think that did anything.

Sent our I-129f August 3rd and I just got the NOA2 approval letter today (2/16)! Looks like they're finally getting to August!

Do a Congressional inquiry.  Call and try to get a Tier II.   Do whatever you can possibly do.  The squeaky wheel gets the grease.  I waited way to long to start complaining.  This is your life.  Always do whatever you have to do to get control back.  The are approving 100s of August filers every week.  Get out there are scream from the rooftops.
 
The Tier I agents are frustrated since they are taking a lot more phone calls from upset filers than they are used to.  3 to 6 months wait and they don't get many calls.  Now that they are at 7+ months there are a lot of upset petitioners who paid good money for a service that is not being delivered.  
 

After a long wait  we got APPROVED  on February  6th, no online  update, my fiance  received  approval  copy  in mail  box  on Feb 11th. Sorry  for late updates, I was offline  completely for a week. Still I feel  the loss of my dad, I and my family  are spending  most  of  the  time  to celebrate  the beautiful  memories  we had with  him.
I am praying  for everyone who is still  waiting  to get  approved. Thanks for everyone  for the help and support  when I felt  being  left behind  by uscis..the wait was  killing...

Everybody needs to relax and have a couple cocktails this weekend.  First, tomorrow is my 57th birthday.  Second, today was a strange one between people asking if they should get pregnant so they can file for an expedite or the poor July couple that just got the NOA2 for their K-1 but they already got married in October.  We all need a break.  Monday is a Federal holiday.  Lets all enjoy the weekend and get back to it on Tuesday.
 
No, being pregnant is not an excuse for an expedite and yes, filing a K-1 when you are married is visa fraud.../rant

Also congratulations to all Julies who have been getting approved. I am so happy for each and every one of your approvals.  I'm an early August 3 but I really feel that this is my home instead since I kept up with you guys.  I have been away to keep up with August since they hit the month but I feel more comfy and cozy here... so if it's ok.. will you have me back?

Good news, we got our NOA2 yday, 15th Feb. Our NOA1 date was 1st Aug, 2017 & date of case received was 28th July,2017.

I really do understand that. My reasons are for my child who wasn't planned and actually was somewhat of a miracle because of the precautions taken to prevent him. But he is here and he is loved. I think that it doesn't hurt to try but yes I see what you mean about the overall process. There are better ways for people to communicate than to to talk down to someone. Advice is great, but sometimes you have to think before you speak. Naes. You are always helpful to everyone here and everyone is extremely grateful for you, I'm sure. I appreciate your opinion and advice but I still went for the expedite in hopes I might get it and my son can be with his father and we can finally start a life without a financial burden on all our shoulders. My request in the end was denied but I'm glad I tried because if I hadn't. I would have sat here thinking about doing it for the next 2 to 3 months. I just can't wait for this whole process to be over. You are all good people but I am getting tired of the forums stalking 😂😂 good luck everyone. Our time is coming. This will be our year!!

That is not your call, you do not get to deport him, if every disappointed spouse had that option they would have to build a lot more Airports.

I was just happy that it disintegrated say to check back in 60 days.  This is the first response that I felt like there may actually be some movement.
 
I would love to hear them say they misplaced it.  At least there would be some relief from wondering if it even exists anymore.

My case was received on 7/21 and I still have not heard anything either...stressful!!

I just received NOA2 approval today in the mail. Everyone was right...my status online and on apps still show received...so the are just mailing them. Mine was approved 2/12 and received 2/15. I'm really hoping the other July filers receive the same good news very soon as I know the waiting is really difficult. 

"T1S" is a Tier I request.  I had a few of those.  When a Tier II does the request it starts with "WKD".  An online request is "SR". Don't ask me how I know...I collect those numbers!  

The app has always been unreliable.  There are a lot of approvals that show up only in mailboxes.  I believe a few still show "Received" even after the visa has been approved after the interview.
 
My worse nightmare is having a lost file and ever inquiry I send is followed by a response of "pending assignment to adjudicator". They are ready that off a screen and never bother to actually look for the physical file.  That is where I am right now on day 253.  Yesterday I was told again that my petition is "pending assignment to adjudicator".  Two more days this week and then a 3 day weekend for USCIS (Monday is President's Day).  Tuesday will be day 259.  Then it starts all over again.  It is funny how when we were young (a few months ago) we had a big argument in the June thread about being approved by day 160...oh the good old days.

I was told that I can't file another inquiry until March 24...so I filed 2 yesterday!  What are they going to do?  Delay processing?  LOL

Yes I have received the case number and Medical is complete. Interview is setup for next week and nervous hoping it goes well.

There are some horror stories about some of the things that lawyers have done here.  At least you can answer those questions pretty easily.  
 
Make sure that all notifications go directly to you and copied to your lawyer.  We have seen lawyers sit on the NOA2 for weeks without letting the petitioner know they are approved.  

And guess what??????? 
 
We got our NOA2 today!!!! No updates on the website nor the app.. It was approved last February 06!!!!! Guys we will all get there! Patience and positivity kept me sane!!!

I filed over 2 months before you and I am waiting too.  Trinab80 filed in May and they are waiting too.  Just be patient.

Today is day 251.  I have asked for a second Congressional inquiry and my online inquiry which was originally filed on Jan 20 has been updated to say that it has been assigned to an officer for response...today.  That usually means that in a day or two they will say that my case is "pending" which means its hanse been assigned yet...deja vu all over again...
