I have been waiting for my green card for over a month since I received the approval letter. I called USCIS yesterday and they told me to wait  60 days, before calling them again.  This is just so frustrating. The officer was so rude.

I received the approval letter but no email or text message saying that card went into production.

I was approved a month ago (9/19) but I have not received the new GC yet, nor my status has been updated online yet. Is anyone else in the same situation?

I just forgot to update here. We got an RFE from VSC at the end of August. And We sent additional documents on September 21. We are waiting for the result. And my extension finished on the September 22nd. Trying to get an infopass, I talked to the USCIS officer and he said if I can’t find a spot, I can go to the office and tell them that it’s emergency, cause 30 days gonna be over soon. (You need to apply for extension in 30 days after your green card expiration date.)

I should not take much longer. I got an RFE also, and they approved me almost three weeks after the received the new documents. 

I was approved on 9/19, the status online has no changed since August 2016. Does anyone know how long it usually takes? (VSC)

I got my approval letter today. The status has not changed online yet.  Long story short, I got an RFE on July 17( I forgot my child's birth certificate), I was out of the country so I replied on August 28, I was approved on September 19.

I sent my package on 8/19 to Vermont it was received on 8/ 22 and I am waiting

I just received my Green Card

I had my interview this morning. The appoinment was at 9:00, we arrived at 9:07. They call us at 15 and we were out at 9:30. I was approved and the IOS said I should receive the green card within a month, although most likely I will receive it in two weeks.

Finally my status changed to Testing and interview! It has been so long but finally some update! what a relief! Does anybody know how soon I will get a paper notice?

Next paper notice you will receive it will be the interview date and it could take weeks or months, it depends on busy your office is.

Finally I got an interview date September 23

Congratulations! did you get notification with usps tracking # when your card was on the way? I read in other forums that some get it and few days later the card arrives in the mail

I did not received the notification with the usps tracking number but I checked the USCIS website and it was there.

I just received my EAD card

Finally my EAD is on card production and my I-485 moved to testing and interview

I requested to expedite my EAD a week ago and I have not heard anything from them yet. I anticipate a pretty stressful weekend again

How do you generally find out about an RFE? I've been checking my mailbox everyday like an obsessed maniac up until I did my biometrics yesterday. I generally checked the mailbox once a week before I filed my AOS. Do I still have to check regularly in case I get an RFE so I can handle quickly or will I get a text/email if one is sent?

I got an RFE a week after my biometrics, it has not been updated online. I found out when i received the letter.

The biometric appointment comes in separate letter. It took me almost 15 days from the NOA1 emails and text message to receive the appointment letter. Most people get them within a week.

Congrats.You gonna walk in?

I do not think so, it is set up for the 9 so I guess I will just wait patiently a week.

My package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox on May 12 (Monday) and received the text messages and email on May 18 (Sunday) at 10:30 p.m. I received the NOA1 hard copies on May 22, and I have not received the biometric appointment yet.
