I am a british national currently living in germany, my fiance is a US national living in Portland Oregon. We met online some 5 years ago. she was married and i was in a relationship also. Over time we grew closer and closer and had regular contact chatting over the internet. She seperated from her husband and i ended my relationship not long after. It will be 2 years in June we confessed our love for each other and I planned to visit as soon as i was able to. I flew out to her in October 2012 and spent 2 weeks together and sure enough our love was confirmed as real. It was another 12 months untill i was able to get out and spend time with her again but this time i stayed for just short of 3 months with her(on VWP). Visiting family and friends and assessing if a life together in the US with her was going to work. During this visit she had confirmation of her marriage anullment and became legally single. So in the final moments of being together i proposed to her and asked her to marry me.
