Well this is my second time on VJ for my kids. My first one I do not want to get in much at all, so let just say that, the person who I once loved and still love in someway has done my kids the worst harm that I never thought twice to get him out of our lives. Now to the meet of the matter, I petitioned for my kids in 2012 as a 2 year PR while waiting on my 10 Year LPR card. Because I was tied up in divorce court my kids never got approved until 8/13 from USCIS and started their NVC journey in September of 2013 once more. there was some bumps and bruise in NVC because at the time I was finishing a degree and not working full time so I had to get a co-sponser and they kept requesting my police report for my 12 year old son over and over to which I had to quote many sections from DOS on when a police report is supposed to be requested and ask that my call be escalated to a supervisor when I called. The sup finally removed the request and then it was smooth sailing to Kingston at the end of December 2013. They were schedule for a March 17 interview, but at my daughters medical exam she told the Doc she was depressed for not living with me and boom it triggered a Psych eval. None the less she went to her interview and when ask for her meds my mom told the CO that it will be late. They told them that they were approved gave them two green papers and a blue one to return with the medical. The psychologist was a mess "DR. Shetty" after charging me over 30K Jamaican dollars he, kept that report for almost a month, then when it was returned to Andrews it was kept another two weeks. But after much calling running up my phone bill they finally released it to my mom who took it to DHL for drop off. A very nice security officer who was at DHL at the time remembered my mom from the time of the interview and told her he will take her into embassy to drop it off. Finally on 4/22/14 we began the waiting game for the visa to be printed.
