Oops, I misread ddtenor2's reply. He was referring to the date up to when you can use the "old" form, not the current one. Sorry!

If USCIS posts the date up to when each form can be used, where can I find such date for the current form? I searched their site but couldn't find anything. Just asking.
Thanks

Step 11 of this checklist indicates the following:
11. Copy of the Birth certificate (front and back) for the US Citizen or a copy of ALL pages of the US Citizen's passport issued with a validity of at least 5 years or a copy of the US Citizen's naturalization certificate (front and back). This is used to establish citizenship.
I have my certificate of Naturalization but the back part is blank. According to the instruction above, I should submit front and back. This doesn't make sense.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I (the US citizen) was previously married. I sent my fiance copies of my divorce decree for his interview not knowing that they would ask for the original or a certified copy (stupid me for not researching better). We were given a 221g and told we would be approved after meeting this requirement. Well we are still waiting. It has been 3 weeks since they received it. The dates you are asking about are the days the CEAC website showed an update which typically means someone has "touched" your case. We are hoping for an approval and a visa soon!
Good luck on your journey! Patience is a virtue.
How do we find out if the consulate (Hungary in our case) will require either the original or a certified copy?
Thanks so much for your help!

ALL pages. You will also have to send you fiance the original or a certified copy (depending on the Consulate) for the interview because that is exactly whats holding us up right now!
@Abby and Andre, what are all these dates that appear at the bottom of your post? Just curious.
Thanks to all for your responses!

We are filing for a K-1 visa and in this document it instructs if any of us was married before we need to prove that prior marriage have been terminated.
Stupid question is: Do I need to send all pages of my divorce decree or just the first page where it indicated the date of marriage termination?
Thanks!

Dear jjpgyitr4evr,
Thanks for your reply. I'm really not looking forward to starting this conversation with my ex. I'm sure many others have encountered this situation. I'm curious about how they went about this and filling out these questions when such info wasn't available. Especially for those that went through a bitter divorce.
Anyone else care to share their experiences?
Thanks!

Dear forum members,
My first posting here.
I'm filling out Form I-129F hoping to marry my fiancee and have a couple of questions. I am currently divorced and my ex wife pretty much took care of the paperwork when filing for her green card several years ago therefore, I don't have her Alien # nor the date of filing. So my questions are:
1. In Part 1 question 14a: Can I send the form without entering my ex's A# or will this negatively affect their decision?
2. In Part 1 question 14e: I don't know the date of filing either.
3. In Part 1 question 14h: Says "Result" What do I enter here?
4. In Part 2 question 11: It asks Alien Registration Number. How can my Alien Fiancee have this number if she is a foreigner? I must not be getting something!
I appreciate your help!

I'm filling out the latest i-129f form and question 8a under "Your Mailing Address" section says "In Care of Name".
I'm the only one who handles my own mail. What should I write there?
Thanks.
