My wife and I met through a Marriage Agency in Barranquilla, Colombia. Prior to talking or meeting, we both had a chance to review each other's profiles and photos, to see if there was mutual interest, and there was.
I will never forget the first time that I spoke to her on the phone. It was 7/10/2005, at 7:30 PM, with the help of a translator through the agency. We bonded instantaneously, and fell in love with that first conversation.
I had originally been planning to return to Colombia in October 2005, but after talking to "this girl", I found myself arriving in Colombia 2 weeks later, and meeting the lady who would become my wife on 7/25/2005.
By this time, I had met many women through the marriage agency. This girl was drastically different than any woman I had dated in Colombia or in the USA. Every moment talking with her, and spending time with her is always a joy... except when we're upset at each other of course... but making up is always worth it :-)
We had a beautiful wedding on a beach in Barranquilla, Colombia, by the Carribean Sea, on 1/21/2006. She said she wanted be married on the beach because her love for me was "as big as the sea"... awwww shucks! :-)
NOTE: When I first started posting here, some people poked fun at my username. I post on several boards, sharing information with men looking for wives in Latin America. Obviously when I started posting, I was beginning my search of "Looking 4 a Wife".... hence the username. The focus of this board is different, but I'm a simple guy and I only want to have to remember one username :-)
