Well, the person applying for a tourist visa has to demonstrate their finances and that they are able to support themselves during the trip. So, if the tourist visa applicant is retired, how do they demonstrate their retirement income?

I know that someone who wants to invite a relative over to the U.S. on a tourist visa has to show proof of income. Everywhere I read, it says to bring pay stubs and an employment letter. What if the sponsor only has retirement income and is not employed?
