In Ds260 there is a question: (note: i was refused to get us visit visa in 2012)

What should i answer here? Yes or no?

I got my case number and IIN on sep 23rd. But when I am trying to log into the CEAC website it is showing the following:

Completely normal It just means that they are in the process of billing you for AOS. Congrats you are on your way!

If you don't mind me asking, which I-864 form did you submit?

I know people got checklist for not putting NA on the i-864EZ Form but I haven't heard anyone getting a checklist for not putting NA on the i-864

I submitted the I-864EZ form. People have also received checklists for not writing N/A in the blank fields for the I-864. I would make sure to do it!

Question: is it absolutely necessary to put NA all over the form of something is blank? I am using the I-864 (without any letters). I know people have had issued leaving the residence info blank on 864(alphabet) form.

You just need to type it into the person's native language. Windows has a built in IME Keyboard that can type in any language.

Ie, for people who paid DS-261 before the new rules came in, it's 60 days from scan date to review of AOS package then another 60 days from IV package being scanned to review of IV? Sigh. So long! Wow Skiwallker just checking out your amazing timeline (since NVC anyway!) I hope we get our IV bill soon. It's only been 27 days I know but I'm so keen to get it paid so I can fill out the DS-260 because I now have all the info I need and I just want to do it and send that package and wait for checklists or CC!

Edit: Our parents in law got the package on Friday and now they just have to sign then send it on to NVC Monday

How soon after NVC receive the package is it reasonable to expect the package to be scanned?

It should be scanned the next day after they received it. It was that way for both my AOS and IV packages. So if you overnight it, you should expect the package to be scanned the day after next.

I submitted AOS and IV documents together in one envelope. I called NVC and they said they received one mail from me on 8thof September. Does that mean they have scanned both AOS and IV ??or just the AOS?

Yes it is the same for both packets you sent since they were in the same envelope.

Yes you can, use the AOS cover sheet. I just did this and my IV Packet was scanned in just fine.

Thats for people who will be entering the NVC now....I am sending my IV package soon and I am not sending the AOS again....There is a chance that when they start reviewing you AOS based on your scan date they also might review your IV docs if they are there at that point..... btw what are you using to write the beneficialry details at the back of photographs ...pencil or balck pen/....Thanks

Not who you are asking, but I can tell you what we did. We just used a black gel pen and let the ink dry for a couple hours.

I see that there are changes on the DoS website about sending AOS and IV documents in one package. We have already sent the AOS and I am about to send our IV package. Should i include AOS documents again? we do electronic processing.

You should not need to send in the AOS documents again if you already sent them. This process is just for new filers that received a different AOS letter from the NVC.

Yup, me too. I got one bill at 1am dated Sept 4th. I paid that bill and then after 2am I got another bill dated Sept 5th. Silly!!

The NVC never ceases to amaze me... I do wonder though what triggered the 2nd email lol

I received an IV Invoice last night dated September 5th and then just now I received another IV Invoice dated September 8th...

Weird part is I paid my IV bill this morning before I received the 2nd invoice.

Perhaps I am dense but I don't see any place where it says how to send them in one package when you have only one bar-coded sheet. In fact, it says this: "Some people have been told by operators (or got the idea themselves) to send the IV package way before the IV bill is even invoiced. Although this may be feasible, I personally wouldn't recommend it."

I'm confused I have only the AOS bar-coded cover sheet. How can I send in two packages particularly if they're meant to go to separate places? I don't know what the right thing is to do, I just want to make sure we are doing this in the speediest fashion.

From what I have seen from other people who have sent both the AOS and IV packets at the same time is that they put the different packets in manila envelopes marked AOS or IV Packet respectively inside a larger envelope. Then just put the bar-coded cover sheet in front of both of the envelopes.

Please read what I quoted from seanimo, this is a new thing and Saylin will be updating her wiki later this week. You can use the barcode sheet of AOS, just change Attn: CMR AOS to Attn: CMR/DR. Some people say it's DR, that's what the NVC reps are telling but on the barcode sheet for IV it's Attn: CMR. To send both packages together, put all your AOS stuff in one envelope, IV in another and put both of these in a larger manila envelope.

hey guys after paying my IV fee and printing my IV cover sheet,the address on the cover sheet is ATTN CMR and NOT DR so I sent my IV package to ATTN CMR. Will this affect anything?should I have sent it to DR?

It will stay "N/A". You need to call the NVC to get updates on your documents.
