Can you not amend the title to the house to include your name?
We also purchased a house and my husbands name is on the mortgage BUT both our names on our the title.
It would also help everyone to know what you sent in the original application!

She left him. Left a note it seems explaining she was going home to work off money her parents borrowed.
This is not really considered marriage fraud but incompatibility of a couple to be honest. Her priority and it could be just her personally or it could be cultural but her priority is her parents not her husband. The OP has to decide if that is the kind of marriage he wants and deal with it accordingly. But there is nothing here in regards to fraud or USCIS really.
She has a GC and can come and go as she pleases.I dont know how you can report to the police your spouse went overseas to see her mom and didnt tell you and them caring. (?) If the OP wants to continue the marriage then ROC can be discussed but otherwise....

Mr T, as an adult, I am sure you know how to prevent pregnancy. Buy some condoms and use them. If the burden of a child is too much for the relationship at this time, why risk it?

No.. but common sense should be involved. You are knowingly entering into a relationship with someone from another country. Probably should start to look at different options BEFORE just getting married and then getting stuck with one route that you aren't happy about.
We researched both options before deciding on the K1.

Being cheated on and asked for a divorce is not abuse. How come so many people bring up VAWA as soon as a USC asks for a divorce. Divorce happens, it's not abuse. We're only hearing one end of the story. Let's not make a colorful bird out of a grey feather.

Yes, this would be the Monday unfortunately. So if you are visiting, it would be a Friday to Tuesday trip here if you want it all in one trip.

Let's be honest, but people marry all of the time and do zero research about it. Usually once a month or so people come on here horrified that thy cannot stay with their spouse in often their first year of marriage or that their spouse simply cannot enter and adjust or even that their spouse doesn't have automatic citizenship. Knowledge is power.
I agree with you, but the criers of unfair need to be reminded that life isn't indeed fair

Its not fair some countries have the VWP. Its not fair some countries are easier to get a tourist visa than others. Its not fair some countries tend to have AP. Its not fair some people's cases go faster than others. Welcome to immigration.

    I really missed Swiss Chalet
The biggest change for me, when I was on work visas in the US for 9 years, was the banking as someone else mentioned, a bit backwards and behind the times, but I got used to it.
When I moved to Los Angeles from Toronto in 2005, it was a bit hectic at first, but I visited LA before while on convention visits, so it wasn't totally alien to me.
I worked in the film industry, so I managed to make a lot of friends at work, it was a bit of an easier transition, since most of my co-workers were also new to the city, and even had a few former co-workers from Canada that showed up which kind of gave us a support group.
Over the years, I got into a few hobbies, painting and off road driving so I met many local friends and that helped alot.
While I'm waiting for my green card processing here in Vancouver, I'm really missing California.
As for the Candy and snacks, check in a large city near you for any boutique candy stores that specialize in carrying imported candy. I found a place in Burbank, CA that had some Canadian chocolate bars! [Coffee Crisp and Smarties]

Sounds like you applied for the wrong visa.. You should have applied for a spousal visa if you wanted to be able to work right away.
You cannot marry and then leave the country without applying for AOS and having AP or your green card.

OMG, yeah, I can't wait to visit my parents and eat a delicious quarter chicken dinner from swiss chalet. Remember when they used to have the roasted veggie side? Those were the best.
I also miss Value Village! Goodwill in my town sucks. Half my clothes are from VV... no way I am paying twenty or thirty dollars for a skirt at a real store

Don't get me started about banks. This'll turn into a "what I miss about Europe" thread. Online banking is unbelievably insecure here in the US. It seems with just a name, account number, and routing code (all printed on cheques), you can make all kinds of payments online (at least, that's how I paid the IV, AOS, and green card fees). Back home, virtually all banking transactions were done online and secured using the chip on your debit/credit card and a little keypad/card reader to enter and generate one-time codes to logon to online banking and to authenticate each transaction.

Don't bother with the utility bills, I'd focus on more important evidence. Most companies will only allow one name on the bill/account anyway.

Sounds like playing with fire. No wedding ceremony is more important to me than getting my fiance approved for a visa without any added stress and/or risk of denial or turned away at POE. I would never recommend this to anyone. Just my opinion.
Good Luck. Let us know how it turns out.

We have done everything on our own. Plus you still need to gather all the evidence which is the actual leg work of the process.
A lawyer may reduce your stress but they do not/ can not speed up the process in any way. It would be cheaper to find an alternative way to reduce your stress than a lawyer. Maybe chocolate or a run...
Read the guidelines and this site is great if you are stuck at any point.

ROFL!!! "Handphone user"? Darnell, you really kill me! LOL!
I only consulted with two lawyers when my guy and I were talking about getting engaged. They both gave me great advice and told me things to be aware of that I wouldn't have thought of, like the IMBRA thing for K-1. However, I didn't hire any lawyer and heavily relied on VJ. Our whole visa process lasted seven months and given that my guy is Afghan, to me, that's pretty darn good!
Given my professional background, I am comfortable reading law and technical handbooks, so this stuff doesn't intimidate me. Someone who is not comfortable with those things can and have been completely successful without using the actual law or handbooks.
If you are at the AOS stage, remember, that the vast majority of cases of people marrying a US citizen or LPR will be eligible to stay and won't face deportation charges. If that's an issue, then lawyer is a great option. If we would have adjusted from a visitor visa, we probably would have hired a lawyer. If there are no criminal charges or other problems with the law on either of you two, then the need for a lawyer decreases.
Finally, you hiring a lawyer WILL NOT affect how the case is processed. It will not be faster because you have a lawyer. You will not be guaranteed that you won't have an RFE because you have a lawyer. The AOS stage is a strange one to me. It's like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're gonna get. You can have your GC in hand within two months or you might be waiting in "My interview is ready to be scheduled" status for 10+ months. No one can predict and a lawyer cannot change this fact.
It's a personal decision, but you can do this! The forms may seem daunting and sometimes confusing, but your answer can be found on VJ. You can always hire a lawyer later, but you know your situation better than anyone. Just be clear with your lawyer if you hire one. If you don't, the search bar on VJ will come in mighty handy!

people already pointed you in the right direction. At this point there is nothing you can do until 2018, nothing. Your waiver was denied and you have to wait until his ban is up and then re-apply. You are not in AP. And just because you have children does not mean you do not have to prove a relationship. To be blunt, having children together only proves you have has sex, that is the way USCIS and the embassy view it. Filing a new waiver now will get you no where and they will just take your money.
