I just received my Oath date and there is a form N-445. It says there fill up the question part on the date of your oath ceremony. Do I do it there in the oath ceremony and sign it too? Thanks in advance.

Hi I'm new to this forum and just wanted to share my experience and timeline.
I applied thru marraige based on the 5 year rule. I just got divorced last year and the IO just asked me when my divorce was finalized and nothing about my ex-husband. I also applied a waiver fee which was granted.
May 28, 2013 application was received and was my priority date too.
June 7, 2013 notice date for biometrics sheduled for
June 25, 2013
September 23, 2013 interview date schedule.
September 20, 2013 rescheduled interview over the phone. I got hospitalized.
September 24, 2013 notified for non appearance for interview.
Scheduled an infopass... forgot when.
November 15, 2013 was scheduled for new interview date on December 23, 2013.
December 23, 2013 interview passed and IO checked my N652 I passed the English and US history & government test & USCIS will send a written decision about my application.
January 2, 2014 I got notified from the case update status online that I was scheduled for the oath ceremony. Still waiting for that letter.
I sent my application to the Vermont Center and was interviewd at Holtsville, NY.
Thank you.

I recently rescheduled my naturalization interview that was supposed to be on Sept. 23, 2013.
I called the USCIS customer service and had it rescheduled from there. I was admitted in the hospital a few days before my interview date and really couldn't make it. I didn't have my receipt or case number since I was in the hospital. The customer rep was helpful, he just asked for my SSN. He gave me a confirmation number for rescheduling it.
Then after a few weeks passed my interview date, I got a letter in the mail stating thaf I missed my interview and that I have to send the USCIS a written explanation why I didn't show up. I was shocked. I sent them my explanation and proof that I got hosoitalized. I called the customer service number again. They told me its better to schedule an infopass. So I did and spoke to the guy in admissions. He told me to just ignore the letter they sent me for not appearing and that they are trying to reschedule my new interview date.
On November 15, 2003 I got a case status update from my email and sms because I registered for the case updates. I was scheduled for Dec. 23, 2013 for my new interview date.
I had gone to the new date and passed it and on Jan. 2, 2013, I received another update that they just scheduled me for the oath ceremony.
Try infopass if you don't hear from them. So I guess it took 3 months for the new interview after I requested for a reschedule.
Good luck!

Not really. I filed for a waiver and had to wait for about 4 months to get my citizenship interview.
