oh boy! how long did they take to send it back?

I made a mistake and sent them a money order for $750 instead of $725. I sent my package 3 weeks ago, haven't received the first notice yet. Are they are going to reject my application for the wrong amount? 

That's great to hear! May I ask what did you bring to the interview? I don't have too much evidence of bona fide marriage.

• Apartment lease with both our names on it.
• Car insurance with both our names on it.
• Receipts for wedding and engagement rings.
• Joint Tax return
• Her license and passport with my last name
• Photos of wedding and other social event we went together

Had my interview on the 4th. Everything went well. took less than 15 mins. I was approved on the spot.

Got my EAD!

Interview on April 3rd. Waiting for letter.

My EAD status went to production this morning!

@aussie_jason I think you applied a week after I did, so hopefully yours should be done next week.

I finally got the Bio metrics letter yesterday. Did a successful walk-in a little bit later.

I spoke to a tier 2 Representative today. They said that my case is in the Lee's Summit, Missouri office and they are severely back logged and it might take about an year for them to get to my file. I cant believe this !!!!!

Am I missing something here? every body else seems to be done with 3-4 months...

On what basis are you adjusting status?

I am married to a USC.

I check the dash board for status change everyday. I-485 is still in "Acceptance" and everything else is in "Initial Review".

My lawyer says its common for them to take longer to dish out bio-metric appointments.

Will this in anyway delay the interview date?

I filed for AOS on 12/20/2013 and got NOA1 dated 12/24/2013. But still no Bio-metric appointment. I registered a service request online, about 10 days ago. I tried calling the 1-800 number , the customer service representative did not have any information on why there was no Bio-metric appointment.

What should I do?
