Hi Saylin,
Could you please update my entry with case number assigned on 03/17/14. Kaylara is correct, now the phone only allows you to press 1 then it sends you to the queue, just an FYI, if the number sounds busy dial again, it normally takes me three times to get the NVC prompt. Your guide is awesome!!!!!!

Hi everyone,
So like i posted yesterday my wife got approved, i did try a trick that kaylara mentioned before. I called the center at my 30 day mark and showed them real concerned that i hadn't received a confirmation letter of my transfer. The lady on tier 1 was also cocerned and she couldn't get any other info besides what we normally see on the site. She then went ahead and transferred me to tier 2 and wished me luck, tier 2 has a call back option so I opted for that option, after 4 hours i got a called back from a uscis officer. After I verified some security questions she started to ask me simple questions from our file, she actually had our file on her hands and asked me where we had gone for our honeymoon based on the photos, which of course i remember the one we included was one from us at yhe bottom of the golden gate bridge. She spend about 3 minutes asking trivial questions which seemed to satisfied her. She then proceeded to say we should hear back from them within 30 days and not to get desperated. She also explained to me the reason for the three texts when we got transferred. First one is when the file gets send electronically to the center, second the actual file gets send to them, third one when the file arrives at the center. I think it might been sheer luck but also the fact that i showed real concern and throughout the whole process i was calm and was just asking them in a calmed voice the same question over and over.
I also should mention this was my second time calling in, first time tier 1 just disregarded my concern. Even after i told them i had not received the letter. Like we have all experienced before so of them rqlly want to do their job and others are just there for their check.

So we hit the 9 month mark today and lord behold i get a text message while having my lunch, I almost threw my soda on my boss. Afterwards we all shared a laugh and a good cheers, of course with our soda glasses. Now another waiting game for NVC to process our case. Thank you everyone, your words of encouragement have kept me and my wife going.

Is him being in Mexico going to be a financial hardship? Do you have student loans that you are paying off? Do you have a house payment? That will also get looked at, if you have proof of all that, also if youcan show if he gets sick you will have to pay it out of pocket in mex. Him being in mex will reduce your income so you will have to support to households.
