  1. Expedite requests are kind of luck of the draw. I know in several years, I have not seen any sure fire cases of expedites being approved all the time. Beyond that, I hope your parents stay safe as even if you are successful with an expedite (you can try again with more information), it will still take a considerable amount of time to get completely through their cases. Good Luck!
  2. Honestly no. Back in 2017 when my wife filed for N400 and her I751 was still pending she was able to get an ADIT stamp when she went for her biometrics. I understand now they send one in the mail which of course means you need to deal with USPS. Good Luck!
  3. It means, and yes, it is a temporary I551 that is stamped in an LPR's passport. Alien Documentation, Identification, and Telecommunication https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/form-i-9-related-news/temporary-status-documentation-for-lawful-permanent-residents-lpr
  4. I understand the consternation, but your mother is an LPR regardless if she has the physical GC in her hand, and she has alternatives for her upcoming trip if the physical card is in fact lost. If you think her trip will extend out past the validity of her temporary GC currently in her passport, then get an ADIT stamp prior to her departure. Even if the card is lost, there is no way she will get a physical GC via an I90 filing in time for the trip. Good Luck!

  6. OK, so only 4 days so far in the USPS system. I would not assume it is lost at this point. No activity could mean it is currently at a major sorting location before it moves on to your local post office for eventual delivery. Could show up in the next few days. Regardless, her stamped passport which occurred in March/April should be fine for this trip as it will still be valid in January 2026 (See US CBP Carrier Guide). If you are worried, you can contact USCIS and request "ADIT stamp". Good Luck! https://www.cbp.gov/document/guides/carrier-information-guide
  7. That would apply after the first twelve months go by. As to today, your mother has a valid proof of LPR status with her endorsed visa at least for the next 9-10 months.
  8. This is why I asked about the consulate as NVC will only trigger that if the specific consulate can take on the workload.
  9. Which consulate? NVC does not really do anything with an I129F package other than route it to the specific consulate, but it can be held up there depending on the consulate workload.
  10. Moved to Working and Traveling during Immigration forum.
  11. Her endorsed IR5 visa will act as a temporary GC for 12 months (see the note printed on the visa). As long as she plans to return in that period, she will be fine. Good Luck!
  12. Just curious, when you made your request what evidence did you use to make the case? I know you made the request via the contact system, so no evidence was physically submitted, but reading the instructions, it shows justification is needed. Also, since you are filing for them normally (not attempting a refugee application), expedited processing is usually granted for issues related to the petitioner. I realize this situation is different, and your request is based on emergency humanitarian grounds, but those can require a high bar. You can try a lawyer, they may be able to offer some ideas to get the expedite approved, but remember, getting an expedite does not mean a petition will be approved in record time, it just moves it to a different line behind all the petitions that have an approved expedite. Good Luck! You generally need to justify your expedite request with evidence. When communicating with the Contact Center, you will be asked about supporting documentation. You should be prepared to supply this to the office processing your case.
  13. Sure, you can pursue a K1 she can come and get married, and leave prior to filing an AOS package, then you would pursue a spousal visa for her and IR2’s for the children assuming they are all minors when you marry. Sounds like a lot of money and paperwork, maybe look at getting married first anywhere, and then pursue the spousal visa. Good Luck!

  15. Take a copy of the U.S. CBP carrier guide with you as well. It is linked on page 1 in this thread. Good Luck!
  16. Nope, should be fine unless she plans to stay outside the US for more than a year or so. Good Luck!
  17. I think the story is more about these sanctuary cities, counties, states not cooperating with ICE thereby forcing ICE out in the greater community to find the person of interest and anyone else caught in those actions are subject to deportation as well. Maybe sanctuary policies need to be re-considered.
  18. If you live and work in Croatia right now, then that should be your current address with your Albanian address being listing in the second section.
  19. I am sympathetic to the issues the OP is dealing with relative to their health, but I am uncertain what is being asked here? The OP says a sibling filed an I130 in 2018 for what I presume is an eventual F4, the person in question is currently in the US with what might be a withholding of removal order. What exactly is the OP asking for? Since they did not file the I130, they cannot request an expedite based on their condition. The F4 category is far from current, so the existing I130 is just collecting dust right now. Not seeing much that can be done immigration wise. To the OP, I feel for what you are dealing with, and hopefully the outcome is more positive that what the Drs. say, but I am not seeing anything you can do to help your son's situation unless you actually file an I130 for him yourself. The I130 your daughter filed cannot be transferred to you. Good Luck!
  20. So you are saying people need to vote for who the elite want us to vote for? Maybe it is a case of folks waking up to the mechanizations of the likes of the WEF and Klaus Schwab.
  21. Is there any name differences between the expired GC and the Spanish passport? If yes, take a copy of the marriage certificate, if not, then your list of documents is fine. You might also keep a copy of the CBP carrier guide to help if questioned by any airline employees. You can do Spanish and English if desired. Good Luck! https://www.cbp.gov/document/guides/carrier-information-guide
  22. Why were the Poles tense? Was it rather the elite Pro-EU "progressives" that were tense? I suspect like in other EU countries, these folks will try and negate the election. Democracy!
  23. I agree, you can correct any issues on the I485 at the interview, and in fact the IO will review your answers at the interview under oath, so as @TBoneTX said, bring it up first thing (my wife had a similar situation on her N400 with a red light ticket, brought it up first thing, and it was a non-issue). As to proof, didn't you have a German police report for your K1? If so, use that assuming it showed the violations. If not, you need to try and get proof of the citations for your interview. Good Luck!
  24. It does sound like she may have given a wishy washy answer related to living in the US as an LPR. Saw a similar instance when someone attempted to enter the US on a K1 and was loose with their answers to CBP. Regardless, I would follow what @carmel34 suggested. Good Luck!
