  1. Sounds like Germany is getting in on the war against farming. Great Reset: Germany Bans Farmers from Properly Fertilising Land to Serve EU Green Agenda https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2022/12/01/great-reset-germany-bans-farmers-from-properly-fertilising-land-to-serve-eu-green-agenda/
  2. Now this woke board wants to roll out CA socialism across the country. Now, if the CA legislation and Newsom approve this massive spending for CA, I can see states like OR and WA following suit closely, but I expect the cost across the US to be astronomical. Aside from that, what about the Native Americans, the Hispanics in the SW, etc.? Newsom's nine-man reparations board demands federal government pays every African American NATIONWIDE at least $223k for 'housing discrimination' AND compensation for racial terror, stolen culture and climate change https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11494935/Philadelphia-backs-10pm-curfew-children-aged-14-17-protect-gun-violence.html
  3. Sure. My wife filed her N400 back in January 2018 and left for five weeks a few days later. She had no issues, and simply updated her travel after filing at the interview. Good Luck and Safe Travels!
  4. The big difference between the 3 and 5 year rule is needing to show a strong marital union to the spouse that petitioned the applicant initially when applying under the 3 yr rule. Everything else is the same. Btw, even if submitting an N400 after being an LPR 20-30 years, it is still considered applying under the 5 yr rule.
  5. I agree with @Mike E, it all really depends on the IO handling the case and the circumstances of the case. The N400 instructions as well as the interview letter list a lot of material to bring to the interview, in my wife’s case, she brought everything and the IO interviewing her asked for none of it.
  6. This is one glitch between the online form and the paper form. Can you put “N/A” in the answer boxed or “X’s” in the A number if you do not know them and it has been so long?
  7. Hopefully you will have a resolution soon. Btw, a state Governor really has no sway with USCIS, or the Department of State, but I understand the thinking. Probably best to pursue the Senator before the Governor if no help from the House member. Good Luck!
  8. Does CA have the money for this? I also wonder how this will be proven as couldn’t a recent immigrant from Africa show they have distant relatives that were brought to the US a slaves way back in time. California Reparations Could See Newsom Give Black Americans $223k Each The Times reported that, just based on housing discrimination between 1933 and 1977, $569 billion in reparations would need to be paid to African Americans in California–amounting to $223,000 per person. The total amount of reparations suggested, the largest in history, will likely be much higher than that. https://www.newsweek.com/california-reparations-could-see-newsom-give-black-americans-223k-1764114
  9. Personally I have a hard time believing Michelle will run. I believe she likes her elite status, and has already seen the headaches of being in the WH.
  10. Completely agree, EVs and ICE can coexist in a non-government regulatory world. What is interesting is much like Covid restrictions, governments are doing what they can as a means of controlling people, if these elite get what they want and EVs take over, they will pivot to driving EV’s (which are truly not zero emission) out as well and do everything they can to herd folks into unsustainable and dirty cities and force other means of transportation. Anyway, in reality, the economic realities you point out are spot on. We just bought a new car for the wife, looked at an EV as it would suit her use case, but to get an EV with all the bells and whistles she wanted it would have taken 13 years in savings to payback the initial cost. Since the plan is to only keep the vehicle 3-4 years, this made no economic sense. When I mentioned this to folks that are all EV, they told me we should buy a cheaper EV. I guess these folks are of the same mindset that there should only be one option of vehicle to buy and we should all be happy with it (you can have any color you want as long as what you want is black). Btw, I hadn’t heard that the Tundra was cancelled, are you sure you are not referring to the Nissan Titan?
  11. I don't disagree that switching jobs on an H1B can be complex, but being employment based it is generally handled by the employer. I have a very close friend that switched employers on an H1B and for him, it was smooth, stopped working at first employer on a Friday and started working at the new employer the following Monday.
  12. This is how I read it as well. Should not be an issue unless their overseas loose ends take a considerable amount of time.
  13. I believe the beneficiary can fill out an I864A as a household member assuming the income continues, so I agree, probably best not to switch jobs until the GC process is over. This way they can avoid searching for a joint sponsor. Who May Be Considered a Household Member for Purposes of Form I-864A? For purposes of this contract, one or more of the following individuals may sign the Form I-864A as a household member if at least 18 years of age: 1. The intending immigrant, if the sponsor seeks to rely on an intending immigrant’s continuing income to establish the sponsor’s ability to support the intending immigrant’s spouse or children; https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-864ainstr.pdf
  14. So Apple is helping out the CCP. Who would have thought. 'Vassal to the Chinese Communist Party': Apple blasted for limiting AirDrop function for Chinese protesters https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/other/vassal-to-the-chinese-communist-party-apple-blasted-for-limiting-airdrop-function-for-chinese-protesters/ar-AA14KAbo
  15. Isn't this why the Dems/Left should let the rail strike happen here in the US? It is environmentally friendly to stop the trains.
  16. After reading the instructions for the I864, it appears you only need to update your I864 with the assets section assuming they meet the requirements. No need for an I864A. Item Numbers 6. - 9. Assets of the Intending Immigrant. You may use the assets of the intending immigrant regardless of where he or she resides. The intending immigrant must provide evidence of such assets with this affidavit. Add together Item Numbers 6. - 8. and type or print the total number in Item Number 9. Form I-864A is not required to document the intending immigrant’s assets. https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-864instr.pdf
  17. You can if you have an exceptional circumstantial need to relocate back to the US. The most common reason is a need to repatriate due to a work commitment. It is not guaranteed the consulate will accept it, but if they do, it does speed up the process quite a bit. You can search DCF India (or your specific consulate) here in the VJ search engine. Seems like you took everything into account. Good Luck!
  18. This is a great point. For someone that naturalized under what I assume is the 5 year rule, it seems likely there was more than 5 years of physical presence since the OP got their GC.
  19. Hmm, we have been told by many that this cannot be the case. Is the vaccine worse than getting Covid relative to myocarditis/pericarditis? It seems it may be. The Incidence of Myocarditis and Pericarditis in Post COVID-19 Unvaccinated Patients-A Large Population-Based Study Since the Israeli vaccination program was initiated on 20 December 2020, the time-period matching of the control cohort was calculated backward from 15 December 2020. Nine post-COVID-19 patients developed myocarditis (0.0046%), and eleven patients were diagnosed with pericarditis (0.0056%). In the control cohort, 27 patients had myocarditis (0.0046%) and 52 had pericarditis (0.0088%). Age (adjusted hazard ratio [aHR] 0.96, 95% confidence interval [CI]; 0.93 to 1.00) and male sex (aHR 4.42; 95% CI, 1.64 to 11.96) were associated with myocarditis. Male sex (aHR 1.93; 95% CI 1.09 to 3.41) and peripheral vascular disease (aHR 4.20; 95% CI 1.50 to 11.72) were associated with pericarditis. Post COVID-19 infection was not associated with either myocarditis (aHR 1.08; 95% CI 0.45 to 2.56) or pericarditis (aHR 0.53; 95% CI 0.25 to 1.13). We did not observe an increased incidence of neither pericarditis nor myocarditis in adult patients recovering from COVID-19 infection. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35456309/
  20. You do not have to submit copies of tax returns when you file the N400. That information is only needed for the interview. My advice, if you meet all the requirements, file now, and by the time the interview comes around you will have copies of the third year of tax returns. Good Luck!
  21. I would see if the consulate will accept direct filing of the I130 for the newborn. It is a little complicated since you are awaiting regular processing for the other children, but it might be possible if you have a need to relocate back to the US relatively soon. Good Luck!
