  1. U.S. CBP issued an updated carrier guide. https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2023-Nov/Carrier Information Guide ENGLISH.pdf
  2. It seems US CBP issued an updated carrier guide. https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2023-Nov/Carrier Information Guide ENGLISH.pdf
  3. The airline staff will need to verify your husband has the proper documentation to enter the U.S. so yes, he will need to present his expired GC and the extension letter when he checks in for his U.S. bound flight per the CBP carrier guide. I would make a few copies of the letter as one time for my wife the airline staff in China (also Delta) wanted to keep it. Since one needs the original to present to US CBP, we gave her a copy. Good Luck! https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2023-Nov/Carrier Information Guide ENGLISH.pdf
  4. Here is a relatively recent thread that may be helpful. Too bad you are not planning on traveling to Canada in the next two weeks. Good Luck!
  5. Definitely, and the drive was not that bad either even considering the utter boredom of I40 across Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico, and I44 through Missouri, and I70 across Illinois and Indiana.
  6. I understand what you mean, but Ukraine is not really in a position to keep using its troops as cannon fodder in a WWI stalemate like war, and at some point, Zelenskyy will start asking for manpower as without troops, weapons are fairly ineffective.
  7. Big difference though as there was no NATO in 1914. Would NATO use its own troops in Ukraine, and would that be an act of war committed by NATO? Does NATO even want to open that can of worms?
  8. Anyone entering the US on a B2 visa is at the discretion of CBP, six months or even entering is not guaranteed. As others have stated, there is no way around doing the interview at the consulate in Hungary. Good Luck!
  9. I want to make sure I understand, NVC DQ'd you, and your case has been sent to the Consulate? I think you can fill out the DS260 and set up an interview appointment out several months. I am not sure I would delay the DS260 as the Consulate may think the case has stopped and send it back, although I could be wrong. Good Luck!
  10. More than likely, you will need the amended I90 notice if for some reason your card is not corrected before it shows expired. The other thing you can do about a month prior to the expiration of the card is request an ADIT stamp in your passport so you have a continued LPR proof of status. Good Luck!
  11. Although Ukraine has taken a back seat to the ME conflict, things do not look very promising for a complete Ukraine victory. I do wonder when Zelenskyy will start requesting troops. Is it worse than 'stalemate' in Ukraine right now? George Beebe, Director of Grand Strategy at QI, highlighted the perils of extrapolating a “stalemate” from the current lack of significant battlefield movements in Ukraine. “Those who believe this war has settled into a long-term stalemate make the mistake of measuring the relative progress of each side with maps. They see that the frontlines have not moved significantly over the last year and conclude that the sides are stalemated,” Beebe told me. “But other metrics, though, paint a different picture. Ukraine is using up its quite limited supplies of men, weapons, and ammunition, and the West cannot provide what Ukraine needs. That is not a formula for stalemate; it's a formula for Ukraine's eventual collapse or capitulation,” he continued. A purely cartographical view of the Ukraine war neglects key military factors, including differentials in manpower and resources, attrition rates, and logistics challenges, that many experts say are not unfolding in Ukraine’s favor. https://responsiblestatecraft.org/ukraine-war-stalemate-2666354627/
  12. Drove to Scottsdale, met with friends, ate prime rib, drove home. It was a very nice time.
  13. When your wife arrives in the US with a valid spousal visa, she will receive a temporary GC via the endorsement stamp in her passport. She can turn around and go back the same day if she wishes as she will be a US LPR. Good Luck!
  14. Was this just a verbal approval at the interview? If so, nothing will happen until CEAC shows "Visa Issued".
  15. If it was me, I would just hold on to it for the interview, or upload it at the NVC stage. Good Luck!
  16. How long ago was the I130 filed? What stage are you at (USCIS, NVC, Consulate)? I probably would just add it to the documents/photos you plan to take with you to the interview when that time comes. Good Luck!
  17. Many people travel using an expired 2yr GC and the extension letter, but the person filing the I751 needs to be in the US for the biometrics appointment if required. Given your situation, it might be cheaper in the long run to file the I407 (no fee), and then file a new I130 now since you plan to repatriate in 2 years (what @Lil bear suggested). This would allow you to forget the I751 filing (will receive a 10 yr GC with a new I130 filing), and no need to make multiple trips back to the US to maintain LPR status. You can delay the new spousal visa at the NVC stage until you are closer to the point you plan to return. Overall, it seems this would be less worry, and you can look at the N400 after that. Good Luck! Yes
  18. I am so sorry for your loss. You can try for an expedite via an emergency request. Good Luck, and again, so sorry for your loss. https://www.ustraveldocs.com/Emergency apps tutorial.pdf
  19. You can list different addresses for mailing and physical, but with a temporary physical address as you described, I am not sure I would list it. There is no online option for the I134, but I would make sure to retain copies of anything she takes to the interview. Good Luck!
  20. Hmm, who would have thought CO2 was plant food, and climate models are wrong. Global Warming Delayed, Who Could Have Guessed? Plants will absorb 20 per cent more carbon dioxide than predicted by the end of the century, a new study has found, suggesting climate models are overestimating how fast the planet will warm. Trinity College Dublin said its research painted an “uncharacteristically upbeat picture for the planet” after finding models had failed to take into account all the elements of photosynthesis. During photosynthesis, green plants use light energy from the sun to convert carbon dioxide, water and minerals into the sugars they need for growth. Scientists thought climate change could weaken the process, but the new research suggests plants can adjust to the temperatures, efficiently absorbing carbon dioxide, producing extra nutrients, and continuing to thrive. https://hotair.com/david-strom/2023/11/20/global-warming-delayed-who-could-have-guessed-n593374
  21. I agree with @Boiler, if not too much of a financial burden, file the I130, and in 18-24 months look at the situation. If she has no desire to relocate permanently to the US, let the I130 lapse, and let her keep her B2 for visiting. If she wishes to relocate, then continue with the IR5. We did this for my adult stepson as we have no idea what the situation will be in 15+ years. Good Luck!
  22. In that case why aren’t your husband’s company lawyers handling your case. I work for a large multinational that regularly handles immigration and expatriate tax issues for employees and their spouses/children. Anyway, I agree with others, file the I90 on your own, and then if biometrics are required come back for them. Good Luck!
  23. You may consider coming back to the US to file the I90. https://citizenpath.com/green-card-renewal-outside-us/
  24. So to me this is much more general than just the Hamas terror attacks into Israel (if mods feel otherwise, feel free to put this in the Israel thread). It is certainly true, people usually show their true colors. A great example is the racist attitudes of Old Corrupt Joe which shine through all the time. When People Tell You Who They Are, Believe Them On the one hand I think: surely this will be sufficient. Surely this amount of blood will be enough to shake the world awake. Surely no one can equivocate or justify this. As my friend Sarah Haider wrote, “How easy is it to simply condemn targeted violence against civilians? Can there be a lower bar?” And yet, across the world, people have sunk below it. Here you can watch people gathered at the Sydney Opera House cheering “gas the Jews” and “death to the Jews.” People are rejoicing in the slaughter on the streets of Berlin and London and Toronto and New York. 25. What I do not understand is the three Leftist justices voted in favor of religious rights on the postal worker case released yesterday, but voted against this one released today. Supreme Court rules in favor of Colorado graphic designer who refused to create same-sex wedding websites The U.S. Supreme Court held that a Colorado graphic designer who wants to make wedding websites does not have to create them for same-sex marriages, in a landmark decision that pit the interests of LGBTQ non-discrimination against First Amendment freedom. In a 6-3 decision issued Friday, the high court ruled in favor of artist Lorie Smith, who sued the state over its anti-discrimination law that prohibited businesses providing sales or other accommodations to the public from denying service based on a customer's sexual orientation. Justice Neil Gorsuch authored the majority opinion, which said that, "In this case, Colorado seeks to force an individual to speak in ways that align with its views but defy her conscience about a matter of major significance." https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/supreme-court-rules-in-favor-of-colorado-graphic-designer-who-refused-to-create-same-sex-wedding-websites/ar-AA1dg4M7
