  1. Still not sure why China needs to use a balloon since the US populace, especially the younger generation, are fine with willingly providing so much information to them.
  2. The issue will be with the minor sibling as they are not considered immediate relatives in the eyes of USCIS.
  3. I understand it is delivering payments for the Biden family, I mean UPenn.
  4. I am definitely not a tax expert, but it seems the IRS will consider you a "resident" for tax purposes only. This has no bearing on your pending I485 submission, and actually it may help it (if you file jointly) as it shows a comingling of marital assets. Back when my now wife came over on her K1, we filed taxes for that year jointly even though she was not an LPR yet and had no issues. Good Luck!
  5. You should be fine. Part of the interview is to review the forms, and update if necessary, so she should be able to have the CO update the DS260 at the interview. Good Luck!
  6. Are the RFE’s worded exactly the same? You can post screenshots here, but cover any personal information.
  7. So this is an interesting strategy. This seems to be Hunter Biden coming out and confirming it was his laptop, and now he is going after those that shared his drug fueled work. Hmm, I wonder how the discovery phase will go. It also goes to show the Biden’s want special treatment from the DOJ. 8. Yes, a bit of a contradiction from the government websites. Best to error on the side of caution and as @pushbrk mentioned, bring complete copies of the I864 package (including the evidence) to the interview along with the other documents needed to establish familial relationship (birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc.). Good Luck!
  9. +1,000. This is the reason we did not buy an EV for my wife when it was time to get her a new vehicle. When the plan is to only keep the vehicle 3-4 years, the cost difference and payback period do not make economic sense. Add to that the fact that EVs are not truly “green”, the decision was easy.
  10. As far as I know, the F4 allows for derivatives, so a spouse would be covered (no additional I130 needed). The issue will be your nephews as they will most likely age out before your sibling(s) I130 is ready. I am not completely familiar with CSPA, so if I were you, I would research it thoroughly. Regardless, there is no visa class for nieces and nephews, so if CSPA does not protect them, then your sibling(s) when they get their F4 visas and become LPRs, they can apply for their children unless the children are now married which would require your siblings to wait until they become USCs. https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/how-the-cspa-helps-family-based-preference-relatives-derivative-beneficiaries.html
  11. I agree, probably best to have a spouse of the primary sponsor and joint sponsor fill out the I864A.
  12. This is so true, and I would add for those looking for an EV truck to do any hauling, figure on having many stops. As I have said so many times, EVs have some benefits particularly for those that take short trips, and have a place at home to charge. They have major drawbacks relative to weight as compared to ICE vehicles, charging if you live in multi-family apartments with no assigned parking, hauling, living in very cold or very hot environments, etc., but they do accelerate very quickly (of course that is also a major drain on the batteries).
  13. The troubling thing is some people will listen to them as supposed experts and deep thinkers. The thing that everyone wants to ignore is no matter how much wealth re-distribution occurs, the wealth will eventually make it back to the people that take the risks and do whatever they can to get ahead.
  14. The problem with that is one side takes the high road and the other says "hey, a political opportunity". Regardless, there is not much the GOP can do to expel Santos from Congress for simply lying to get elected. In the History of the Congress, there have been 20 members expelled, 17 of those were for supporting the Confederacy and the other 3 after being convicted of serious crimes. As @Mike E suggested, it the House and/or Senate wants to adopt a "Santos" rule, fine, they can make the rules, but they need to be applied fairly.
  15. Why do the voters want him to resign? Has he done a bad job for them? If it is all about lying, well, these folks need to get over it, politicians never tell the truth especially when it leads to election/re-election campaigns. The voters can vote him out in a little less than 2 years. Like I have said before, never ever vote for an incumbent for any office that has no term limits (i.e. House member, Senator).
  16. My thoughts exactly. I do wonder what the Native Americans are thinking right now? Maybe they would want some assets back.
  17. Isn't there a plan to expand the program until all illegals are identified as not being illegals therefore solving the border issue?
  18. Not only that, but electric utility companies will start readjusting rate periods since most EV charging is done at night where currently the rates are lower, I think the rates will normalize fairly quickly. What is a new power plant?
