  1. I agree with @Lil bear, file the I485/I131/I765 package. I really cannot comment on if you need a lawyer as @Boiler states, that depends on the details. Good Luck!
  2. It’s an embarrassment to us given we are the paying customers, but to the government, that does not pride itself on customer service, it is a cash cow.
  3. So Canada doesn’t seem to have an issue shooting these down over sparsely populated locales. Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says US shot down 'high altitude airborne object' over North America https://www.foxnews.com/world/norad-confirms-high-altitude-airborne-object-flying-over-northern-canada
  4. Yep, his wife and handlers are truly horrible people, just like Jill Biden.
  5. So if it is “half fake” then by definition it is “half true”. More than likely the true part is the information about Old Joe’s corruption.

  7. Live and learn! At least you can impart that knowledge on others coming after.
  8. Probably best to do the delay at the NVC stage (i.e. your USC spouse delays uploading the required documents). That way you can maximize the visa validity period to work out entering the US after your 2nd wedding anniversary. I agree with the others, best to avoid ROC/I751 if possible.
  9. You do not automatically lose LPR status at 2 years, only the proof has expired and one is required to file an I751 to remove the conditions. Only an IJ can take someone's status away.
  10. To be clear, they physically write in the visa class in the inspection stamp. That being said, it is not a bad idea to remind them when entering and try to get them to write "IR1" on the stamp in case USCIS messes up with the GC (I know, that never happens ).
  11. It can also be by referring to each other as husband and wife. If the CO sees that in texts/chats it will give them a reason to question the K1 relationship.
  12. I think @Mike Ealready laid out a plan you can take moving forward. Discuss it with your fiancé, let him know what you have learned and how you can best act going forward, search the VJ search engine for "K1 denied" where you will find many stories of couples denied due to being "too married" in the eyes of the consulate officer. You should not be scared, you came here (VJ) to get real information from those that have gone before, take the advice or not, that is up to you, but it is good information and you still have time to improve your situation. Good Luck!
  13. In general, USCIS IT systems seem to have issues with timezones. This has come up with people filing the N400 form online almost immediately after their 90 day filing window opened (i.e. 12:01 am), and found out at the interview that USCIS thought they applied 1 day to early. The recommendation by @Timona and @Noname93 are related to the potential that some system within USCIS will show you entered a day before your CR1 would convert to an IR1, so it is best to give it a couple day cushion especially since you are dealing with CBP and USCIS systems needing to talk to each other properly. Regardless, your plan is sound and as others have said, it is a good idea to avoid the I751 if it is possible particularly since the fees are scheduled to increase significantly on that form in the near future. With a 2 week cushion, you should be fine, but consider waiting another day or two after your 2 yr wedding anniversary.. Good Luck!
  14. No worries. AOC is on the case. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/ocasio-cortez-lambasted-for-calling-hunter-biden-laptop-story-half-fake-why-is-aoc-taking-hunters-side/ar-AA17hHRK
