  1. Death Penalty? Teen driver appears to intentionally hit, kill retired police chief in viral video The 17-year-old driver fled, and Probst, who was still alive, was rushed to the hospital where he died of his injuries. In the footage, the driver asks, "Ready?" as the giggling passenger records the collision on his iPhone. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, hit his a--," he tells the driver, who then veers the Hyundai Elantra into the bike lane behind Probst, who is wearing a red shirt and shorts as he pedals. https://www.foxnews.com/us/teen-driver-appears-intentionally-hit-kill-retired-police-chief-viral-video
  2. Have them fly to another country like UAE or Qatar, then board a plane to the US. Maybe @Mike E might have some other ideas. Good Luck!
  3. Maybe it is still flying to China via AI developed in China.
  4. Yes, I agree with @Mike E, you may want to think about a back-up plan in case your B2 application is denied. Good Luck!
  5. There are a lot of questions, but the OP story did say something about a malfunctioning transponder. Not surprising as you cannot expect everything to work on an $80 million+ piece of US military hardware.
  6. Ahh, we just mis-understand the other side. The Democrat/Leftist/Regressive policies seem pretty clear to me, and I am not a Republican. That being said, CEIP is about as far left as the Manhattan Institute is to the right, so anything is to be taken with a grain of salt.
  7. I am going to put this here as it is the Democrat "progressives" that are creating the DoJ two tier system, and driving the distrust people are now seeing. Another Whitmer Fednapping Case Goes Boom During the course of the federal proceedings, defense attorneys uncovered an elaborate entrapment scheme that involved dozens of FBI informants, supervising agents, and undercover employees. “In this Case, the undisputed evidence…establishes that government agents and informants concocted, hatched, and pushed this ‘kidnapping plan’ from the beginning, doing so against defendants who explicitly repudiated the plan,” defense attorneys wrote in the December 25, 2021 motion. “When the government was faced with evidence showing that the defendants had no interest in a kidnapping plot, it refused to accept failure and continued to push its plan. The government’s exploitation of its virtually unlimited resources, poured into its investigation, further underscores entrapment as a matter of law.” FBI agents and informants organized meetings and excursions including “reconnaissance” trips to Whitmer’s summer cottage, the scene of the fabricated crime; purchased food and alcohol for their targets; invented a “militia” group led by a longtime FBI informant; created encrypted group chats to fuel conversations about the kidnapping plot; and recorded their targets under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. “Collectively, the first three informants were directly involved in every aspect of this case, every meeting, every [field training exercise] and every significant event from the day the investigation commenced in March of 2020 until the Defendant’s arrests [sic] on October 7, 2020,” a defense attorney wrote in a February 2022 motion. A man named Dan Chappel, a truck driver for the U.S. Postal Service, was hired by the FBI as an informant in the spring of 2020 to stitch the group together. Scouring social media for targets, Chappel focused on luring Fox into the scheme as the mastermind. At the time, Fox, 33, lived in the basement of a vacuum repair shop in a Grand Rapids strip mall without running water or a toilet. Chappel ingratiated himself with Fox, sending thousands of texts over a five-month period and offering him a pre-paid credit card in the amount of $5,000 on numerous occasions. https://www.declassified.live/p/another-whitmer-fednapping-case-goes
  8. Historical posts show AOS, so I am assuming the first responder spouse is a USC, so wouldn't this plan require CRBA?
  9. As I will repeat, these climate protesters need to do it by showing they are willing to bring their own personal CO2 emissions to absolute zero (i.e. not net zero based on some worthless carbon offset).
  10. This whole alias thing implicates Obama as well. I wonder what his aliases were.
  11. Certainly understandable, but unfortunately US immigration does not factor that in. Now your parents can still apply for a B2 visa, but attempting to do an emergency appointment so they can provide childcare is not a good plan.
  12. Why do folks feel the need to mask up? I know when I see people at work, or out in public with masks on I assume the person is either a gaslighted Leftist or they themselves are sick. In the case of the latter, I am more upset that if they are in fact sick, what are they doing out in public or at work.
  13. Not really sure with numbers like this, anyone would get a jab regardless of how much it is pushed on us by the "leaders" of this country. The commonly accepted number for adverse events from the shot is in the neighborhood of 1/800 in adults, which is inconceivably higher than other vaccines
  14. Well it seems the mayor of Chicago has the answer to all the crime that has forced Walmart and Whole Foods to close their city stores, city owned grocery stores. I am sure these will be left alone. I know the phrase "hasn't got a clue" is used a lot for these idiot "progressive" politicians, maybe someday voters will actually understand. Chicago mayor considers creating city-owned grocery store after Walmart, Whole Foods close stores in the city Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson announced last week that his administration is exploring a city-owned grocery store as a means of promoting "equitable" access to food, though the plan has drawn criticism from skeptics of a government owned and operated store. Chicago would become the first major U.S. city to implement a municipally owned grocery store to address food inequity if the proposal advances, the mayor’s office said in a release. Johnson’s office said Wednesday that it’s working with the Economic Security Project, a non-profit group, on a feasibility study that "will help inform the Johnson administration’s emerging food retail strategy, which will receive input from experts, community leaders, and Chicago’s Food Equity Council." "All Chicagoans deserve to live near convenient, affordable, healthy grocery options. We know access to grocery stores is already a challenge for many residents, especially on the South and West sides," Johnson said. "My administration is committed to advancing innovative, whole-of-government approaches to address these inequities. I am proud to work alongside partners to take this step in envisioning what a municipally owned grocery store in Chicago could look like." https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/chicago-mayor-considers-creating-city-owned-grocery-store-after-walmart-whole-foods-close-stores-in-the-city/ar-AA1gRld1
  15. I don't completely disagree. I think the disastrous US exit from Afghanistan may have played a role in the decision making. My only point is the analysis/narratives we get from the neo-Cons in the West is not necessarily correct. Btw, I see the totalitarian Zelenskyy is back in the US begging for money. I wish the Congress would put a stipulation that there will be no more money until Ukraine releases the USCs they are detaining. 16. Definitely on the list with Caddyshack, M*A*S*H, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
  17. In general, a B2 visa is not available for work, and childcare, even for an immediate family member, is considered work, so it might be tough to justify an emergency appointment.
  18. To make sure, when you get your GC, you can go down to the SSA and apply.
  19. Not really certain anyone knows what they were thinking. Most of the analysis we get here in the US or in Western Europe is coming from neo-Cons who are adding their own biases, or they are simply just trying to sound smart. There was a real red line in Russia, and unlike Obama that talks a big game with lines in the sand, but usually backs down. It seems many in Europe and the US figured other heads of state would act similarly as they pushed to expand NATO even further.
  20. Pretty much as expected. While I agree the insurance rates on EVs may come down some over time, the fact that the battery pack can be damaged even by a minor accident will leave them higher than their ICE equivalent. 21. What I do not understand is the three Leftist justices voted in favor of religious rights on the postal worker case released yesterday, but voted against this one released today. Supreme Court rules in favor of Colorado graphic designer who refused to create same-sex wedding websites The U.S. Supreme Court held that a Colorado graphic designer who wants to make wedding websites does not have to create them for same-sex marriages, in a landmark decision that pit the interests of LGBTQ non-discrimination against First Amendment freedom. In a 6-3 decision issued Friday, the high court ruled in favor of artist Lorie Smith, who sued the state over its anti-discrimination law that prohibited businesses providing sales or other accommodations to the public from denying service based on a customer's sexual orientation. Justice Neil Gorsuch authored the majority opinion, which said that, "In this case, Colorado seeks to force an individual to speak in ways that align with its views but defy her conscience about a matter of major significance." https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/supreme-court-rules-in-favor-of-colorado-graphic-designer-who-refused-to-create-same-sex-wedding-websites/ar-AA1dg4M7
