  1. Orlando is what the OP mentioned in their first post.
  2. I could see someone hitting just right and breaking their neck. On an aside, on a flight from LAX to Sydney we had a bulkhead and the FA's brought a lady that was having trouble (airsickness) to lay at our feet. Luckily she did not lose it while there.
  3. Not clear how she died, but I assume it might have had something to do with not wearing a seatbelt.
  4. Do you know all the details of those cases? This seems to be your frustration, that USCIS should process cases in a manner of FIFO, but we should understand that many cases are being processed in parallel, and not every case is the same. Maybe your local office is awaiting the receipt of your I751 package from whatever center it is at and the person who currently has your I751 case is out sick, or on family leave. I know in a perfect world, those cases should be dumped on someone else, but the federal bureaucracy is not perfect. I understand the frustration, but you have completed what you could to get yourself to the end of the process (submitting the I751, filing the N400 when your window opened, etc.). Just let the system work and be patient. There are many stories of folks filing the N400 with the I751 pending who get conditionally approved for the N400, but the I751 package is still unadjudicated, and they still have to wait for it to catch up. Patience is needed and hopefully your case will move soon. Good Luck!
  5. My thoughts as well. Comparing one case to another is simply wrong. Along with that, who knows which clerk was assigned which case, are they out on leave or something else. To the OP, feel free to lodge a complaint, maybe contact the CIS ombudsman, or even have your lawyer file a writ of mandamus. This is up to you.
  6. I am not entirely certain, but you may want to file an I407 relinquishing her first GC. That may clear up the removal order issue. Good Luck!
  7. Looks like the Atlanta PD is taking this seriously. So much for black masks. Good thing they are not relying on Garland. Atlanta police name 23 domestic terrorism suspects in Cop City attack; AG warns 'violent extremists' https://www.foxnews.com/us/atlanta-police-name-23-domestic-terrorism-suspects-cop-city-attack-ag-warns-violent-extremists
  8. Personally I would think if they passed preclearance and had their passports stamped, they would still be LPRs even if the flight was canceled. To me it would be just like someone that entered via land and turned right back around as technically after passing preclearance one is considered inside the US.
  9. Depends. The CDC site says this is required if coming from China Macau, and Hong Kong. I am not aware of the need for those coming from other countries. That being said, if you are transiting, you need to check that country/countries as well. My wife recently transited through Dubai, and they require it (although they all but ignored it), but it was not required to enter the US. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/international-travel-during-covid19.html
  10. Sometimes. Usually this is associated when someone files the N400 with an I751 pending which I assume is not your case since you said you just filed in January (I assume 2023), but they also do this to balance workloads with the offices. It could be an RFE as well, or a notice saying "Case Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview". Regardless you will have plenty of time to respond or wait. Good Luck!
  11. More than likely just a notice saying something happened such as a case transfer to a different office. I would not stress too much about it at this point. Good Luck!
  12. Personally, I think I would wait until I had a better date. That being said, you can probably put in a guess, and correct it when you have a better date at the interview. Too bad your MIL did not submit an N600 to get your wife a certificate. @Mike E can add this to his list of reasons to do this. Good Luck! The IO will review the N400 application at the interview, and ask for any changes, or clarifications.
  13. What is to discuss? It seems clear the bureaucrats that control DC are going to follow a similar strategy as a means of control. What used to happen here in the US is the media questioned these folks and provided sort of a watchdog effect. Now many in the media are complicit in the government mis-information which is very similar to the former Soviet Union, Russia today, the PRC, DPRK, etc., where the government controls the media.
  14. There is quite a history of viruses escaping from labs. https://nationalpost.com/news/a-brief-terrifying-history-of-viruses-escaping-from-labs-70s-chinese-pandemic-was-a-lab-mistake
  15. I assume these folks are clever and do this at night, so the DoJ is powerless to act.
  16. Both parties have a messaging problem, but of course the Democrats get a lot of help from the activist media. I am not sure why anyone who claims to be a Republican would agree to go on any show on CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, or work with anyone from WaPo or NYTimes. Have they not learned that they will be treated poorly by those biased media sources? Regardless, our two party system is broken, but the Democrats enjoy years of indoctrination that reaches many people, even those that claim to be MotR.
  17. It is interesting that some feel the need to put their friends the political identity categories created by the Democrats. I have friends, I don't label them according to anything. Now, I never said this guy was not out there, I have never heard him speak, and I am loathe to believe anything filtered through the activist Leftist media today. That being said, are we saying there is no way all these pharmaceuticals are ending up in the drinking water? I think the EPA could use some new folks in Palestine, OH.
  18. It has been a while since I went with my now wife for her K1 interview, but I do know that everything is consulate specific. In our case, only she was interviewed, but the CO did it at a window where I could sit a few feet away and hear everything. I would email the consulate in HCMC and let them know you wish to attend, but it is up to them. As to the length of time, I would expect anywhere from 2-10 minutes for the actual interview, but the time checking in, and waiting can make it a longer stay. I think we were in the consulate in Moscow for about 3.5 hours total.
  19. So what is your definition of an idiot? People have their religion which in this country is allowed. Personally I think it is more important that we do not elect groomers. Regardless, the issues this guy in FL talks about is not all that outlandish. There is a lot of stuff in our water that the wastewater processes do not remove (this is from personal experience as a wastewater treatment plant engineer from a few years back), and in this time of distrust of the government, I am not sure I believe what any agency is telling us.
  20. Yeah, he certainly has an ambitious wife. I suspect that when it was decided to continue the run, he was not in much of a position to make a decision, but as the campaign progressed, he should have put his foot down. Of course it doesn’t help when the Dr. Treating him was a major donor to his campaign.
