Wow, even Elon is suggesting a pause. 'It's a dangerous race that no one can predict or control': Elon Musk, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and 1,000 other tech leaders call for pause on AI development which poses a 'profound risk to society and humanity' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11914149/Musk-experts-urge-pause-training-AI-systems-outperform-GPT-4.html

The interesting thing is even though there is some bipartisan support for banning TikTok, the mainstream of the Democrat Party seems to be in full defend mode. Personally I think a ban will be useless, and to be honest I don't really want to see the US government censoring anything more than they do (it is always discomforting when in China listening to the BBC and seeing the screen go blank due to CCP censors). That being said, people really do need to understand what they are getting into when using an App like TikTok.

The gymnastics the Leftist media has been performing to deflect from the truth is amazing.

Biden Admin Negotiates Deal to Give WHO Authority Over US Pandemic Policies https://yournews.com/2023/02/19/2517717/biden-admin-negotiates-deal-to-give-who-authority-over-us/ -
Most likely suspended with pay, made to attend some sort of DIE training, and will be allowed back in. Come On man, we need these Leftist teaching kids in colleges. On a side note, didn't we have a former member that held similar views? I don't remember advocating killing, but there was definitely violence suggested. There was no “allegedly” about it. He said, “I think it is far more admirable to kill a racist, homophobic, or transphobic speaker than it is to shout them down.”

File now or wait??
Dashinka replied to HKH12345's topic in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
If you have the package ready to go, I would file it to get the enormously long I751 clock ticking. Heck, by the time USCIS gets around to adjudicating your petition, you may have had another child and you can add any additional birth certificates to the package if and when you have an interview. As to evidence, you can only send what you have. Hopefully you have things like DLs, phone bills, insurance, etc. that show both of your names as well as your address. You can have you family provide a simple lease or a written statement showing you both reside at their home. Good Luck! -
Ex husband threatened to take my green card

Even a 2 year GC as divorce waivers with the I751 are fairly common. We all know the ROC process is just a way for USCIS to get more money. -
Ex husband threatened to take my green card

Sorry about your situation. I agree with most of the other responses that this should not be an issue naturalizing under the 5 year rule. When he threatens to contact USCIS tell him he is opening himself up to an immigration fraud investigation. I know that is tough when dealing with a verbally abusive ex-spouse, and I am not suggesting you engage with him more than you have to. Good Luck! -
Can you use your parents physical presence to extend to the child? If so, I don’t think the child would be eligible for a B2 visa. 3. Reliance on Physical Presence of Child’s U.S. Citizen Grandparent If the child’s parent does not meet the physical presence requirement, the child may rely on the physical presence of the child’s U.S. citizen grandparent to meet the requirement. In such cases, the officer first must verify that the citizen grandparent, the citizen parent’s mother or father, is a U.S. citizen at the time of filing. If the grandparent has died, the grandparent must have been a U.S. citizen and met the physical presence requirements at the time of his or her death. Like in the case of the citizen parent, the officer also must ensure that: The U.S. citizen grandparent has been physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions for at least 5 years; and The U.S. citizen grandparent met such physical presence for at least 2 years after he or she reached 14 years of age. Like the citizen parent, a grandparent’s physical presence is calculated in the aggregate and includes time accrued in the United States during periods when the grandparent was not a U.S. citizen.

I agree with @PaulaCJohnny, the only thing I would add is I would wait at least six months before attempting to get a B2 visa.

Another major drawback of EVs. Not really sure I would want to drive an EV that had been in an accident, even a minor one. Lots of Crashed EVs With Minor Battery Damage Are Being Totaled EVs are often touted to be more reliable due to the lack of moving parts compared to a car powered by a combustion engine. However, the few critical components which can fail are often quite expensive. One of these is the battery pack which can often account for nearly half of an electric car's price tag. Often, these packs aren't serviced at a typical dealership or body shop. This means that if the packs are damaged as part of an accident, an insurance company will often write off the entire cost of car rather than the repair of a single internal component. According to Reuters, this has led to a number of low-mileage EVs quickly making their way to salvage yards and auctions with even the slightest battery-related damage. https://www.thedrive.com/news/lots-of-crashed-evs-with-minor-battery-damage-are-being-totaled?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=socialflow
