So what you are saying is that the Leftist activists are intolerant of other ideas, and can be violent? You are right, the Leftist activists are all but blackmailing these companies and the CEOs are hoping their silent brand loyal customers will forgive them. Maybe they will, maybe they won’t. The Left and their identity politics grift is starting to get really old.

And the activist shouting can be just as childish. Personally I do not see conservatives trying to silence anyone, but I definitely see Leftist activists trying to silence anyone that does not agree with them politically or socially. Look at how many conservative speakers have been silenced, but I guess that is ok as long as the activist/loudest voices get their way. Personally I do not care what InBev/AB does, I don't frequent their product, but if people choose to discriminate against their product or question their brand loyalty based on a company's political activism that is a personal choice and a risk the company takes. I know a lot of people that do not want activism thrown in their faces and they can do what they want. In the meantime, maybe the Left needs to become more accepting of other's views as they have seemed to lose their ability to be accepting of different views.

Please help - Reentry permit DENIED!
Dashinka replied to C&I's topic in Working & Traveling During US Immigration
I think @OldUser is saying that a lawyer, even a family friend, may be interested in taking you down rabbit holes you do not need to go. By all means though see what this lawyer says, but just be wary. As a side note, saw a thread this morning of a immigrant coming to the US soon where their lawyer told them they would need to present the sealed envelope at their first entry. This person though had their information transmitted electronically and it does not appear the lawyer knew that was happening now. Regardless, let us know what you hear from your consult. Good Luck!- 39 replies

The war on those with good credit
Dashinka replied to TBoneTX's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
Only a little more than a week from going forward. I guess rule making doesn’t include public scrutiny first. What was that thing Obama told us about Old Corrupt Joe? Real estate expert shreds Biden rule punishing homebuyers with good credit: 'It's madness' The changes, which will begin in May, have many experts worried about the impacts both on buyers and the economy. Real estate expert and Madison Ventures+ managing director Mitch Roschelle unpacked the "madness" on "Varney & Co." on Thursday. "It's bizarro world," he said. "That fee that's charged, PMI, which is personal mortgage insurance, that fee that FHA [Federal Housing Administration] charges is intended to punish those with lower credit scores and riskier loans to basically level the playing field from a risk perspective. Well, what are we doing? We're doing the opposite." https://www.foxbusiness.com/real-estate/real-estate-expert-shreds-biden-rule-punishing-homebuyers-good-credit-madness# -

Daily update on Biden tanking america
Dashinka replied to Nature Boy 2.0's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
So he is excited about this and is calling it an accomplishment? BIDEN: "We've created more than 12,000 brand new jobs in two years!" Huh? They need to find better pharmaceuticals I guess. -

Please help - Reentry permit DENIED!
Dashinka replied to C&I's topic in Working & Traveling During US Immigration
Personally, if you are planning on moving back in the next few months, maybe come a few weeks early to get the home ready. I wouldn't worry about coming back to apply for a re-entry permit since your plans are to come back soon. If you have proof you maintained a residence in the US, or have one set for the move back bring that with you. Roll the dice, and you will probably be fine. There have been stories of LPRs out of the US for much longer periods that just came back. Good Luck!- 39 replies

Possible N-400 Name Change Issues
Dashinka replied to IAmKhaye's topic in US Citizenship General Discussion
I agree, my wife took my family name when we got married, and her GC was in that name. We actually considered doing a name change when she naturalized as the marriage certificate itself does not work in Russia to get her passport name changed there and we thought having a legal document might work, but in the end we did not do it. She just deals with her US Passport in her married name and her Russian passport in her maiden name. -
How does custom work for LPR?
Dashinka replied to customques's topic in Working & Traveling During US Immigration
More than likely no, but no one can completely predict. As @Mike E stated, best to declare it all. Good Luck! -
If CBP only authorizes her for a 4 week visit, then that is all. If CBP authorizes a 6 month visit, she can stay for that period. Therefore in your scenario, if she is given authorization for more than 4 weeks at the time of entry, she is free to stay longer and there is no need to notify anyone. Focus on her paying for the trip herself, don't muck it up with I134s or invitation letters, etc. Good Luck!
