  1. No, the extension letter only provides proof of your LPR status with the expired 2 yr GC until the I751 is finalized. I will defer to @mindthegap as the expert on the complicated I751 situations. In my opinion, the easiest would be to get the divorce finalized as quickly as possible (do you have an idea how long it will take) and then send in a divorce waiver request with the divorce papers. But if the divorce is going to take a year plus, that may be risky. I am not sure about pulling the current I751.
  2. Doesn’t appear that has happened yet based on the timeline. It seems they only have the 4 yr. Extension letter with an expired CGC. To the OP, since the divorce is not finalized yet, I would just wait until you have the final papers, then notify USCIS that you are changing the I751 to a divorce waiver. That is a bit risky as if the I751 is approved without a divorce waiver, it could cause issues when you file the N400, but since you only filed in March or this year, you should have some time. When you have a good idea when the divorce will be finalized, then you can notify USCIS of the divorce waiver about 90 days before it is finalized, and reply to the RFE with the divorce papers. As to N400, you will be able to apply in a couple more years under the 5 yr. Rule. Good Luck!
  3. + 1,000. I am definitely an early bird, and yes, this is the best time of the day!
  4. Even the PM of Mongolia appears to be wondering what the heck Kamala is saying. https://www.foxnews.com/media/vp-harris-mocked-proclaiming-community-banks-community-pearl-wisdom
  5. Apparently they want a more personal space. I tell them that’s easy, just get in at 5:30 and you can always get the same space.
  6. So when “experts” are wrong do we stop calling them “experts”? Incredible satellite images shows how previously-drought stricken Lake Powell has risen by FORTY-FOUR feet thanks to historic winter storms Earlier this year, experts said it was unlikely to refill for another 50 years after hitting its lowest level in decades due to droughts. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12375057/Incredible-satellite-images-shows-previously-drought-stricken-Lake-Mead-risen-FORTY-FOUR-feet-thanks-historic-winter-storms.html
  7. One dry hopped lager that is very tasty, and one IPA with six different hops (3 boiled, and 3 dry).
  8. 12-14 months to process, but USCIS generally won’t touch it for several years.
  9. F4 has a final action date of April 2007, so if you file today, 16+ years before a visa can be issued. Good Luck! https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Bulletins/visabulletin_August2023.pdf
  10. In general since they will be categorized as F4, the I130 will be slow walked for 15+ years. We filed an I130 4 years ago for my stepson and his wife as F3, and there has been no movement. Good Luck!
  11. No real big surprise. Btw, wasn’t Obama in the know regarding the entire Russian collusion hoax? Wouldn’t that make him guilty of defrauding the American people? Obama biographer says ex-president 'as insecure as Trump,' would be 'terrible' on SCOTUS in stunning interview "He wants people to believe his story. For me to conclude that ‘Dreams from My Father’ was historical fiction — oh God, did that infuriate him," Garrow said. "He doesn’t want the writerliness challenged. It’s my story and I’m sticking to it. The book ['Dreams'] is so fictionalized." Garrow continued: "It’s so inaccurate, whether about the dynamics among the guys in Hawaii or what’s going on in the community group on the far South Side [of Chicago]. And it completely omits women. I’ve always thought that there’d eventually be a feminist critique of Obama because his mother and all the girlfriends — they’re not there. They don’t exist." https://www.foxnews.com/media/obama-biographer-ex-president-insecure-trump-terrible-scotus-stunning-interview
  12. Personally I like a hybrid system. It is a nice change of pace to go into the office 2-3 times a week, and it is also nice to be flexible in case something comes up. What is interesting is being one of the older folks on the office, I totally like the whole open office environment, I work with quite a few millennials that wish we had cubes.
  13. Who could have guessed that community banks are in the community. Apparently “community” is the word for the day.
  14. The marriage certificate will function as a legal name change document for USCIS. Fill out the forms in her new married name, and you should be fine. Good Luck!
  15. Here is a good thread detailing a lot of the steps required for DCF. This was done in Japan and was related to an imminent job relocation, but it may still be helpful. Good Luck!
  16. This whole ordeal will definitely become a case study in business schools as to how to blow up a brand.
  17. Sums it up pretty well. Two Sets of Laws for Two Americas So far Joe Biden seems exempt from just such legal jeopardy. But as a senator and Vice President with no right, as does a president, to declassify files, Biden removed and, as a private citizen kept for years classified files in unsecure locations. Biden’s team strangely revealed the unlawful removals after years of silence. It did so because the Biden administration found itself in the untenable position of prosecuting the former president for “crimes” that the current president committed as well—albeit far earlier and longer. https://amgreatness.com/2023/08/03/two-sets-of-laws-for-two-americas/
  18. Why are Democrats so worried about Cornel West? Democrats fear third-party candidate Cornel West could weaken Biden in 2024 https://www.foxnews.com/politics/democrats-fear-cornel-west-could-weaken-biden-2024
  19. With Goldman as the Democrat shill, it is not hard to debate the corruption. Heck, half the time, Goldman proves it himself. Devon Archer torpedoes Biden camp's defense of controversial dinner with Burisma exec https://www.foxnews.com/politics/devon-archer-torpedoes-biden-camps-defense-controversial-dinner-burisma-exec
  20. No doubt, but it will be tough. The powers that be in DC are angling to make sure Trump wins the GOP primary as they know he is their best chance to retain power.
  21. You can always try to get the consulate to accept the I130. I am not sure if they would determine your situation to be a medical emergency, but they may. I would provide as much information as possible as to the dates of the upcoming appointments you need to meet and Dr. Notes verifying the procedures, etc. Good Luck!
  22. Correction, apparently this occurred in the People’s Republic of California. https://nypost.com/2023/08/02/7-eleven-workers-beat-cali-thief-for-stealing-shelves-of-tobacco/
  23. I can still remember in elementary school when the teacher brought in an incubator with a 60 watt (I think) bulb to incubate some chicken eggs.
  24. Unintended consequences? I guess if you get screwed by the ballot box, you vote with your feet. Oregon county lost $1 billion in 2020 as residents fled crime, homelessness: 'It's like Portland died' Multnomah County, where Portland, Oregon, is located, reportedly lost more than $1 billion in income between 2020 and 2021 as a result of residents fleeing the state amid surging crime, homelessness and safety concerns. Data analysis conducted by Oregon Live showed that 14,257 tax filers and their dependents left Multnomah County during the first year of the pandemic in 2020 and took a record $1 billion of income with them. The data showed that higher earners were more likely to leave since their jobs could be done remotely during coronavirus shutdowns, and the average income of people leaving was 14% higher than people who left the year before. https://www.foxnews.com/us/oregon-county-lost-1-billion-2020-residents-fled-crime-homelessness-its-like-portland-died
  25. I agree, the GC is valid for travel. Good Luck!
