  1. I don't expect the success of the F1 to be very high, and the examples I found by searching here have not turned up any successes. That being said, you can always try, but don't get your hopes too high. Maybe discuss this with your academic advisor letting them know you have the I130 pending and see if you can delay the program until the I130 plays out and you get your spousal visa. Good Luck! Btw, I searched "student visa I 130 pending"
  2. Based on both human nature and on some of the stories we see here in VJ, I tend to be of the opinion that superficial qualities are front and center for most when forming a personal relationship. How many stories of folks that want to send their spouse or fiancé back when secrets are learned, etc. Sure communication is key as I did with my now wife, but too many people now days do not know how to communicate. As to the topic at hand let me try. Male to Female (no surgical transition) Likes Men - Gay Likes Women - Straight Male to Female (full transition) Likes Men - Straight Likes Women - Lesbian Female to Male (no surgical transition) Likes Men - Straight Likes Women - Lesbian Female to Male (full transition) Likes Men - Gay Likes Women - Straight
  3. Why are climate activists so clueless. Yes, the climate is changing, has been happening since the earth and the rest of the solar system formed from the interstellar dust caught in the gravity of the sun. Humans though are very adaptable, and have the know how and innovation to adapt to these changes.
  4. Interesting, I hadn't realized this was coming so soon. India overtakes China to become world’s most populous country China’s population decline follows decades of strict laws to bring the country’s booming birthrate under control, including the introduction of a one-child policy in the 1980s. This included fines for having extra children, forced abortions and sterilisations. While initially highly effective in controlling the population, these policies became a victim of their own success, and the country is now grappling with an ageing population in steep decline, which could have severe economic implications. Part of the problem is that because of a traditional preference for boys, the one-child policy led to a massive gender imbalance. Men now outnumber women by about 32 million. “How can the country now shore up birth rates, with millions of missing women?” asks Mei Fong, the author of One Child, a book about the impact of the policy. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/apr/24/india-overtakes-china-to-become-worlds-most-populous-country
  5. Not completely related, but your thought made me think back to this. As to the topic at hand, this whole thing smacks as a social contagion particularly in the US. Now of course it might not be, but if it is real, I guess the L's and G's will be going away soon. Douglas Adams right again: Lack of phone sanitizers will doom planet As you doubtlessly remember, somewhere in the Hitchhiker’s Guide series Mr. Adams told the story of the The Golgafrinchans, a race of people who sent their Telephone Sanitizer population away. The Sanitizers were sent along with another third of the planet’s population who were also deemed useless to form a colony on a remote planet (Earth as it happens). Of course, the remaining Golgafrinchan population was then wiped out by a virulent disease contracted via unsanitary telephones. https://collateraldamage.wordpress.com/2006/05/02/douglas-adams-right-again-lack-of-phone-sanitizers-will-doom-planet/
  6. Ideally you are correct, but how many personal relationships are based on superficial things such as looks, money, etc.? If one is a heterosexual man or woman looking for a relationship with someone of the opposite sex based on things like looks, what happens if they find out that person is something they were not expecting?
  7. Yep, makes so much sense. As of this past week, it’s apparently “for some lesbians.” And those would be the lesbians who are interested in dating men.
  8. Love it! I understand it is becoming a trend that convicted male criminals are now identifying as women so they will be moved to a women's prison. Makes sense, and most of the woke regressive Democrats are all for it.
  9. If she is not a citizen, or hasn’t accrued 40 quarters of work, you will need to count her against your household size on your new I864. Plan on a joint sponsor. Good Luck!
  10. For some reason there is little coverage of the actual genocide. Is it trans on trans similar to Chicago?
  11. Sweden falls under the first column in the visa bulletin. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2023/visa-bulletin-for-april-2023.html
  12. Apparently only men like to used things made from oil. Who would have figured. "Petromasculinity" is a threat to humanity The idea behind the concept is pretty simple: the attachment to fossil fuels has nothing to do with the fact that without them human civilization would collapse, billions would die a horrible death, and that ever since we began using them human lifespans have increased, poverty has declined, and quality of life has blossomed for billions. It’s because we love bathing in oil. It buttresses our hate for women. Proof of this is obvious: so-called “climate deniers” don’t bow down to the goddess Greta. Now in my little corner of the universe, we don’t generally set public policy and upend civilization based on the tantrums of a high school dropout. This is, I admit, an apparently idiosyncratic view. The UN, for instance, disagrees with my principle of using reason to set policies. But there are still a few stubborn people who do not worship youth and ignorance married to shrill whining. https://hotair.com/david-strom/2023/04/27/petromasculinity-is-a-threat-to-humanity-n546569
  13. Don't really know since different USCIS offices are responsible. I do know there are a lot of stories of folks that have filed an I130 for a spousal visa that also file an I129 for a K3 in an attempt to speed things up. Some folks swear by this as a method, but YMMV. The theory is the K3 visa is essentially dead, and when the I130 is finalized, the I129 will be canceled by USCIS, but some think this forces USCIS to process the i130 faster in order to get the I129 off the books.
  14. If someone is adjusting status from within the US, the I485/I130 will get transferred to the local USCIS office, so processing times may vary widely. Unless your wife is currently in the US, concurrent filing is not an option for you.
  15. And you know the history of how these crash test dummies were developed? Btw, it is not a problem with the dummies, but rather an issue with the crash test requirements such as FMVSS 202/208/214. In the end it is all still about the physics (mass, acceleration/deceleration, velocity and time) and has little to do with the dummies used as measurement tools. Other than that, even if all the dummies are simply scaled down versions of a male dummy, that should gain the companies much higher ESG scores.
  16. The OPs grandmother and their fiancé’s dad are half-siblings sharing a common parent. This means the OP’s great grandmother and their fiancé’s grandmother is the same person making them first cousins once removed. I know, confusing.
