Son coming to U.S before 18th birthday
Dashinka replied to Rey_o's topic in Bringing Family Members of US Citizens to America
Yes, but since the son is entering on an immigration visa, the petitioner has some responsibility related to the first entrance of the US regardless of how long that petitioner has been in the US. It is the same as for a spousal visa. If the father wants to establish his son is a USC (becomes an LPR prior to his 18th birthday thereby becoming a USC through his father), he should follow the idea spelled out by @Mike E. Good Luck! -
Investigate an expedited passport appointment at the passport agency. I know back when my wife naturalized, we were traveling in about two weeks after her oath, and we went to the passport agency and she had her passport in 3 days. Now that was all pre-covid, so things may be a bit different now, but it is at least researching.

If you have enough liquid assets (3x the poverty guidelines) and they are US based I think that would work. -

Hmm, so women are chickens now? Btw, what are they called after menopause? Biden Official Praising Clinic Calling Moms 'Egg Producers' Sparks Outrage Admiral Rachel Levine's recent visit to an LGBTQ+ clinic in Alaska has drawn some criticism due to the center's espoused views on gender identity, care and terminology—including the replacement of the word "mother" for the term "egg producer." Levine, who is transgender and has served as Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) since 2021, visited Identity Alaska in Anchorage on August 6. She is the first transgendered federal official ever confirmed by the U.S. Senate. She has repeatedly defended the transgender community and notably vulnerable trans youth, imploring against bullying tactics and "politically motivated attacks through state actions" in reference to the hundreds of bills weighed by state legislatures across the United States. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/biden-official-praising-clinic-calling-moms-egg-producers-sparks-outrage/ar-AA1fptuP -
Just curious, have you ever had to wait at a DC fast charger yet? I suspect with Tesla opening their network to everyone (I suspect to get more revenue), and EVs starting to become more widespread, wait times at chargers will start becoming an issue. I know, most people charge at home, etc., etc., but we all know that is not practical for everyone, particularly apartment dwellers.

Son coming to U.S before 18th birthday
Dashinka replied to Rey_o's topic in Bringing Family Members of US Citizens to America
When is the interview? When is the son's 18th birthday? When does the father plan to return to the US? There are a lot of competing assumptions here and it is not guaranteed the visa will be issued or the son will even have the interview soon. Regardless, the father (petitioner) should be in the US either arriving with his son, or proceeding the son before the child activates their LPR visa. The father may need to make plans for a quick trip to the US with the son if all the assumptions line up. Good Luck! -
No surprise here. Taxpayers should fund $300,000 UTERUS transplants to help transgender women get pregnant, suggests American Medical Association The American Medical Association (AMA) has suggested that taxpayers should subsidize uterus transplants worth up to $300,000 to help transgender women get pregnant. Arguments were made to reduce the cost of the surgery in its Journal of Ethics issue in June titled Patient-Centered Transgender Surgical Care. But the AMA has been criticized for floating the idea and has been accused of holding an 'activist position'. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12417181/American-Medical-Association-suggests-taxpayers-fund-300-000-UTERUS-transplants-help-transgender-women-pregnant.html

I guess there are more words off limits as determined by the Democrats/Left/Progressives. Now if it rhymes, it is the same as saying the word. Hmm, this seems to be a trend with politicians. Remember Carlos Danger? AP is fairly common while the consulate processes a visa application. The CEAC status will often toggle between AP, and Refused (this does not mean denied) before it is either finally issued or denied. I don't know if the dating thing would cause an issue. Is her significant other in the US, or in her home country?

Kind of falls here. I wonder if the elected leaders and bureaucrats that created the mandates will be held accountable. If this was Korea or Japan, I think they might do the honorable thing. Hawaiian Electric knew of wildfire threat, but focused instead on mandated shift to renewable energy The utility company concluded in 2019 that it needed to invest more in preventing its power lines from emitting sparks, among other issues. Consulting California's efforts to reduce wildfires, the company drafted a plan to install more insulated conductors, fire retardant poles and more aggressive monitoring technology. The company barely pursued those goals over the next two years, however, investing less than $250,000 on wildfire projects, according to the Journal. It did not request state permission to raise rates to pay for wildfire prevention until 2022. Instead, the company found itself focused on a state-mandated shift toward renewable energy. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/hawaiian-electric-knew-of-wildfire-threat-but-focused-instead-on-mandated-shift-to-renewable-energy/ar-AA1fpwk3

Assuming you meet the requirements for applying, I would say apply when you return to not have the worry of a snap biometrics appointment showing up. Good Luck!

Personally, I would be fine with that. I would be happy voting for DeSantis, or Ramaswamy over Old Corrupt Joe Biden. I would also vote for Trump over OCJB considering the corruption Old Joe is involved in and has been involved in for many many years. The Democrat Party and the Left have no respect for the Constitution.

I assume their only real option is to get Old Corrupt Joe to come out and say he is going to finish this term, but is not running in '24 which would throw it to an open primary and let that process take care of the Kamala issue. Now this would have to happen relatively soon, and who knows if Joe or Dr. First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden are on board.
